aiyt! ;) wat upgrades would you suggest  i would do first? ::)
wasSup mayn, well if yer car is still bone stock, I'd suggest that you do add / upgrade the following:
1. turbo timer
2. air filter
3. cat-back or turbo-back exhaust
4. boost controller
5. up-pipe & down-pipe

well, those are the first 5 basic upgrades. and since that you have an STi, you dont want to do too much upgrades because it might hurt the engines reliability and HP & TQ. so after you do the 5 upgrades, have the ecu re-flashed and have the car dyno'ed. so you can see the end results of the BPU's you have done. anywayz, if you have any questions about what parts to buy, installation, and where to have the ecu re-flashed, you can call me at (707)319-6050. aite, latez! -KBR

how about a boost gauge also, since youll be adding a boost controller...

and no really big needs for the up/down pipe.

dont forget to tune your car with those mods.

wasSup mayn, well a high performance filter will not really shorten the engines life. the reliability of an engine depends on how you drive and maintain the car. and also, all of the mods above will help you increase the engines HP & TQ. the only little downside on upgrading to high performance parts are: voiding the manufacturers warranty, a little more fuel consumption & some aftermarket parts are not CARB legal. the up side is that a fixed up car is more fun to drive! aite, latez! -KBR

aiyt. thanks for the info mayn.. probably, ill be looking forward (after my warranty expires) is getting an air filter, and a turbo back(is this one street legal?)..

since im only running with a stock turbo, should i still get a boost control and a turbo timer? btw, i already have a namco boost gauge (is this ok?)..

do i still need to get the up pipe and downpipe?

yeh, well theres an air filter kit for yer car that is CARB legal. and about the turbo back exhaust, well it is not street legal. but still, the turbo back system is still OK.
as long as you drive decent, and dont attract the popo's then youll be OK. also, yer going to need a turbo timer first. and get a boost controller last. and as for the Namco boost guage, it'll be aite as long as its accurate enough & reads over 25 psi. you can upgrade the stock  up pipe and down pipe last and this mod is optional.
thats why I put the above list of modifications in order, do it that way so that youll be able to notice the diff. of each upgrades. aite, latez! -KBR
