just got back from playing basketball, i was changing the in the locker room when i found a nokia 7200 flip phone on the top of the locker. at first i thought the owner was just there changing too but after 10 min some people left and it quickly came to my mind "someone really forgot to get his/her phone because i have seen it a thousand times already" I even got to hold it and open it. This is not the first this has happened... i remember seeing an old treo phone with a wallet being left in the bench of the same locker room then it was followed by an old nokia 5110 which didnt tempt me at all cuz it was close to worthless. actually i lost a nokia 7250 in that same locker room... i somehow got to excited changing to play basketball that i left it in one of the unlocked lockers. my friend saw it but they didnt know it wasnt mine so they just left it there unfortunately by the time i realized it was missing ... it was already too late... someone took it. but this happened jan 2005. All the while i made myself promise to get a "replacement" phone if ever get the opportunity to "get" a left phone in that same locker.

However i believe in karma thus i just left it there. BTW this phone is not worth a lot... maybe less 150 USD cuz its used.

btw naka rims na sana ako if i sold that phone in greenhills to complete my budget haha.

Would you get it if were in my situation?

El

siguro, what i would had done is got the phone and surrendered it to the security or management of the facility

or hold on to the phone and wait for the owner to call his/her phone

-Andrew-

if you trust the management, then by all means give the phone to them. if not, keep it nalang and wait for the owner to call. if di siya tumawag after several days, it means naggive up na siya. and u can sell it or whatever you want.
We simply attempt to be fearful when others are greedy and to be greedy only when others are fearful.

or call someone in the phonebook.

Hero33

look for "mom" "dad" or "bro/sis"

call them

Then tell them you have their brother/sister and you'll send a piece of him/her every thirty minutes if they don't cater to your demands.

Then tell them right after their sibling/child left their phone.

haha
Go stable, just right... TO GO FASTER!

I've always believed in Karma, so I'd rather call the persons in his Phonebook instead.

Andrew is right, dapat trustworthy rin ang information desk/management, dahil in the end, baka katayin lang nila yung item or money. Tssk Tssk.

oo nga noh, di ko naisipan na tumawag sa relatives. hahahaha bobo ko talga. hahahaha! anyway, that's a good idea. but if wala nang load yun cell, i'd stick to my original advise.

sometimes it's more than just a cellphone. What if it was some cold cash like $20,000?
Kyle, just think about what happens at the end of the day. It's absolutely mixed feelings. I will surely be happy if i had a nice phone for free. But i know i shall wake up miserable.
If this happens just think what can happen in the long run. The option is open. Take it if that is what your heart desires, or return it if you want to have a memorable experience of seeing people being happy because you decided to do so. :)

I'd donate half and keep the other half. I'd get half karma which will be offset by the half positive karma. (as if Math applies...)
