i've seen a lot of these in malaysia. i'm not sure if i like it, parang pinaliit na revo. base price daw nito is only around 500k.

yes that is correct. The Avanza will come by August as Toyota's public transport model.

Seats 7. Price AFAIK is in the 600k region.

IMHO I'm also waiting for this model to arrive so I can take a second look. 1300 VVT-i engine (same as with the Vios but tweaked for more low end torque), 7 seater, dual A/C, and best of all, RWD!

depends. they're probably thinking of it as strictly a city car, and not even a zippy one at that. id be more worried if it can cruise at and decelarate then accelerate back to highway speeds though; if it can't that can be a safety issue.

saw a lot of this in thailand, malaysia and singapore i think this is a great idea na ipasok to ng toyota here lalo na if the price is at  600k then i guess it would be a big hit im sure i think the 1300cc  engine is enough for city driving  lalo na traffic naman e

i checked the specs,almost same power and torque but diff engine.
1.3 vios 2NZ-FE
1.3 avanza K3-VE ata

the vios is longer and wider but avanza has bigger wheelbase and taller height(obvios ) and heavier wahaha
