bakit may mga driver na ang bagal magmaneho pero pag may oovertake sa kanila binibilisan?

i almost smashed into a fierra this morning because this honda sped up when i was overtaking it.  he was moving really slow, with his hazard on, then sped up when i passed by.  what the hell...

the other day naman i was turning right at east avenue when this nissan cefiro going slow sped up when i flashed my signal...grabe talaga...

pag ala ka talagang pasensya mapapaaway ka...

Hindi mo talaga maiwasan yan, some people are really a**holes when it comes to driving. Baka naman inisip niya na nanggagago ka or something kaya binilisan niya bigla. Maraming naaaksidente dahil sa ganyan, lalo na sa mga highway. Kaya cool lang sa daan...  

a**holes talaga...i mean, if you're going slow, then just let other cars pass you safely diba?
maingat naman ako when it comes to overtaking, pero mapapasama pa because of discourteous drivers.

wag naman sana tayong maaksidente.

they need to learn their lesson.

Ah, yes that sometimes happends, kaya  usually ang ginagawa ko is signal (busina) to over take first before actually positioning for overtaking. I mean bubusina muna ako, if they dont speed up, position agad ako to over take and then busina ulit, if they don't speed up parin, HAMMER DOWN! Thats the time I overtake.

Ang theory ko why these drivers speed up when you signal to overtake, is thats the only time they noticed that they are going slow and when they hear your signal or busina to overtake eh doon palang sila mag speed up. But then theory ko lang yun. Thats why I signal twice before overtaking.  

Ang pinaka kakainis sakin is yung mga hindi nag sisignal when making a turn or when changing lanes. Minsan sila pa galit when naiipit mo sila or ayaw mo sila bigyan ng space. Eh paano ko naman sila bigyan na space eh hindi ko naman alam ang intentions nila. If they only signal to change lanes eh, di alam ko na they what to change and I give way. I always give way kung nag signal yung car, pero kung hindi ka nag signal, eh di I won't give you space talaga!!   Sisik ko talaga car ko and bubusina ako!!!

Seems this happens a lot. Maybe this is "Standard Operating Driving Practice" here already!

Guess it all boils down to common courtesy as your heading states. There are times when i wonder why foreigners say we are so cordial and courteous a people ... exception of course is when we are given wheels to drive ... Mr. or Ms. Hyde then emerges and with the vehicle used as an instrument of destruction!

Maybe, just maybe, the rat race has affected a greater many of our driving population. Really sad!

Just keep your cool everyone ... one never can tell when the other party is armed, dangerous, or outright crazy (jeepney, tricycle, or otherwise).

Better to arrive a little later at a destination rather than not having reached it at all!  

Ugali talaga ng Pinoy yan.. Nagpapa-intay pero ayaw mag-intay. This is one type of attitude that I wish would be removed from us all.

baka kaya ganyan binibilisan sila is because of the crab mentality siguro. guess ko lang. you know, ayaw magpalamang sa kapwa tao....

dito satin..mataas literacy rate...wala lang common sense yung iba...yun ang di natututunan

The evolution of the Filipino Driver!! Ang daming traits ng pinoy driver, positive and negative... magaling nga tayo magdrive compared to our US counterparts pero BASTOS naman, ayaw magpauna at pagpatalo... oh well.. TC guys!

minsan palakasan nang loob. kaso baka maka chempo ka nang kups/tanga na driver tapos bagain ka. kaya ingat din. tapos timing

discipline kulang ng mga pinoy, kaya dapat lagi cool sa daan para iwas na din sa gulo.
