Though I like it or not, I'm heavily addicted to this forum. And I also feel I belong here. I'm sure many of you feel the same way too.

So, can we give each other real names behind the aliases? This is so we get to know each other more, and most probably even give each other business too. I hope everybody who logs in, contributes to this thread.

Shouldn't we start with the moderator's? After all, they're the gods of the cyber AI universe. Then later, everybody else contributes too. Input in here:
1. real name
2. work and location
3. why are you addicted to AI and since when? (parang Alcoholics Anonymous  ;D )
4. Anything else is optional

This was the first local offroading forum and am glad that I stumbled here. Registered August 2002. Back then there were a few regulars and discussions were hardly in tune with the forum's theme. Now, it's a lot more colorful, sometimes controversial, but I am happy with how it has matured in the last 9 months. Credit goes to our regular contributors, mainly Johnqpublic318, Wolverine, Sixpack, Drexx, Wolf Den....

Happy trails!

Sorry... I haven't been paying attention this section's every thread.  Fighting and arguing (on Talkboard) for the Filipino people's right to have better and lower priced private transportation has been exasperating.  I've been doing this since my days at Volvo, at CAMPI meetings, in my magazine articles, and now, thru this forum.  I'm still looking for that light at the end of the tunnel and for any sign of hope but I'm already starting to tire out...

Anyway, I've been a gearhead ever since and motor vehicles are my brothers...

AI helps me keep track of Philippine automotive/truck industry trends and has allowed me to meet fellow Filipinos (sadly, very few) who share my passions.

I also have various other hobbies that mostly involve the outdoors. :)

Unfortunately 3M_TA3, I don't have seniority over anyone here  ;D although at times I may accidentally project myself that way...

1. menemis Drexx Laggui
2. Engineer (Product Management) here in Redwood City (Silicon Valley, California (Go Sacramento Kings!!!))
I'm a senior nerd who help develop and test network security software for a global Israeli company.
3. I registered in AI late November 2003, and have been hooked-on ever since. This forum has awesome people who give and share alike, never lacking in effort to help those who thirst for knowledge and/or in need of technical help so as not to be duped by bad mechanics. AI helps me stay in touch with real Pinoys.
4. Off-road treks is both sport and leisure for me. It introduces me and my family to lots of great people, cultures, and sceneries. I'm also drawn to it 'coz it is a very technical hobby, both in terms of vehicle mechanics and driving techniques.

---Ayan, I guess this thread is open and everybody must contribute!!!  ;D  ;D  ;D   Salamat po!!!

I got to know AI thru watching a weekly motoring tv show, 3rd qtr last year. Upon seeing this website, i find it easy to relate to this forum( heck, i dont even know how to use the internet(chat,surf.....etc) then, i dont even approve of buying this PC!

Everyday, after closing the store, i usually go to this website just to read your postings, whatever might interests me, .....

Okay, the moderators have spoken.  Now i think agewise, i'm just a little senior to any of them. (Very little, mind you!)  I know them personally.

My name's Yeyet Estrada and i'm connected with Unirock Corporation, a constuction outfit.  Like many of you guys, I'm a gearhead who thinks he knows how to work on engines.  I may be deceiving myself.  Used to spend most of my time hot rodding the car and racing go karts.  Found out i was too heavy for the racing kart and I can't seem to keep awake long enough to play on the drag strips with the young guys.  This is why most of my attention is now on offroading. Any vehicle I ride now has a lower center of gravity.  i do not intend to lose weight and lose this advantage!!  I do most of my engine work and suspension engineering or at very least oversee whats being done step by step.  This is why my mechanic sweats bullets when he's asked to work on my Suzuki.  I usually carry a big stick while he's around!! hehe! Nobody touches my car though!

I've been an offroader as a kid but on two wheels.  Now I need four. No!, it's not because the two wheels can't support my weight.  It's just a safety concern.  Tatay na kasi!

Been on the AI board for about a year I guess through Ronin's invitation.  It's a really helpful board and the people seem to genuinely care for the problems others encounter. Not to mention that there are a lot of competent gear heads in here too that give sound advice.  Peace.

P.S.  If you hear anywhere that i just like victimizing offroad newbies by bringing them to really nasty trails, that's just not true...... I like bringing offroad veterans to nasty places too. Just so we can all get stuck together!! Mwaaahahahaha!!
Everything we do on earth leaves a track....May they be one's we'd

I think I'm one of the youngest here and somewhat addicted to offroading because of the Daihatsu Feroza. :) Ok let me introduce myself. Mr. Jay-Ar PiƱon, sales and marketing consultant staff at Hyundai Ortigas located at EDSA and Annapolis st. Beside and before Soliven building. I started being addicted to Ai since when I first saw the FEROZA THREAD. Peeps here like WolfDen and Tru Blu knows me. Were just almost same lovely and addicted to the FEROZA. :D And also I'm one of the organizers of the building Philippine Daihatsu Club, hirap pala mag-organize noh?  ;D Pero we already started 2 I can say succesful EBs.

By the way if you're interested to buy or you know someone wants to buy a HYUNDAI STAREX and MATRIX please send me a PM or contact me at 7239101 to 07. And we'll gonna be launching the HYUNDAI TERRACAN very soon!! :D
