mga tol bakit ganun parang mas malakas pang mobile! one time i heard mobile sounds that sound loud i mean really loud with very low bass maye 15-29 hz! pero kakilala ko may ari nung mobile and nung binuksan namin ung dalwang bandpass subwoofer box nya (siguro naman alam nyo ung bandpass subwoofer box ng pang mobile... malalaki at may latag ng fiberglass) pucha! nagulat ako! targa lang na 15" na dvc! bakit ganun samantalang sanay na ko makarinig ng 500-1750 watt rms eh hindi ganun kalakas samantalang targa lang un! targa! targa! 250 watt rms lang tol! dat low end sub? (no discrimination to ya'all men!) i really and surely know that sub coz i have i think 3-4 targas before and i pushed them all to its limits  so what can u say why is that so loud? and besides ply wood lang un hind mdf nor marine wood!

Tama si schuey its in the box. , the Mobile boxes are bigger. Imagine putting a box like that in an automobile. Maybe if you drive a bus or a truck then you can put a box as big as those mobile boxes. :)

Another thing is the power supply. The Mobile amplifiers are 220V and draw that current from your local powerstation. For car audio, you have to rely on the alternator & battery of a car and can only give 12-14 Volts. 12V vs 220V + hi-current [no contest] :-X.

Pero there are some demo vehicles out there that can sound as loud as a mobiles.

huh? if thats the case, whats d purpose of audio shops advising right size of baffle enclosure? coz i changed my sound lately with 2 kicker comp vr15" which i think has 700 watt rms f im not mistaken in 2 mdf wid 6 cu. ft./ per enclosure coz i got an  mitsu adventure with right amp rating.watt, ohms, damping factor etc. well its still performs less than those targa with 250 watt rms in the mobile box... and di ba better ang mdf ko than a ply wood ng mobiles saka pareho namang latag ng fiber ung box ko at sa pang mobile... advise naman

tom's,

try putting ur two comp vr's in a bandpass enclosure....maybe even just 1, baka mas malaks p un dun sa two targas na nakabandpass din. believe shuey and stukach wen they said, "ITS ALL IN THE BOX" because it is. ;)  if you look at the enclosures...sealed boxes give a punchy sound, ported or vented enclosures give a gapang type of sound and band pass enclosures,,, well,,,, you heard it diba, its simply loud! its not na nde advisable ang badpss sa car audio, it just takes too much of space. bawat subs my sarling specs for enclosures and lahat ng specs nila for bandpass is to be really big. i reaaly can't explain how it works pero lets ask the more experienced guys like sina A+, and the other audiophiles! kaya uulitin ko sayo... ITS ALL IN THE BOX!!! ;D ;D ;D

chicco ha! :) last week lang binigyan kita advise ha tunkol dun sa fenton amp ngaun ikaw na bigay ng advice about baffle enclosure! :) ;D bakit ano ba ung nakkita ko sa mga bandpass ng mga ibang auto? minimum requirement lang ba yun or  below require ment and sobrang liit compared sa mobile?  ;D

And one more thing, hindi practical yun professional audio na box ilagay sa car. Kaya nga meron tayong application for car audio specifically. You can't expect your car to sound like a professional audio system kasi para sa ibang application yun primarily for wide open spaces unlike sa car na maliit lang space.

And also, about yun 15-29hz na frequencies, they are inaudible to the normal human ear. You can only feel those frequencies but not hear them.

tom's,

(micro na .7 feet long) with matching 2 pcs. :)

I was about to post that. Definitely no contest.

from what i've known, professional mobile amps require also 12 to 14 VDC, just like our car amps. just my 2 cents...  ;D

i dont think na purket 220 eh malakas na IMO san ka ba nakakita ng speaker or subwoofer na 110/220v ang supply? wala naman ah.. ung amp nga na pang mobile i eh may transformer pa yun na I think is 220v input and 18v output pero mas mataas ang ampere ratings... sa ampere ratings lang di talo ang baterya at meralco...

tom's,

if u have the money and the time, by all means do so....parinig pagnatapos mo ha!!! ;D  u can remove the seats sa rear cabin ng adventure mo tapos ung buong likod pa enclose mo for ur bandpass enclosure! grabe lakas nyan sobra, baka pwede na yan pumantay dun sa monster truck ng kicker!!! ;D
