what do you guys think of the movie? the ending was better so-so. i was expecting another twist but wala eh ehehehe but in terms of a straight-forward ending, i think it's great. medyo may philosophy nanaman na kasama regarding "purpose". ito yun sinasabi ni smith all throughout reloaded eh, something about purpose.

i also noticed that smith called the oracle "mom" i think the oracle also help make him who he is. tapos sa huli sinabi ata ni architect kay oracle "you are playing a dangerous game" i think medyo risky yun ginawa ng oracle to make neo and trinity fall in love with one another. remember that trinity might have fell in love with neo because the oracle prophesized it and she believes in her. yun previous 5 "the ones" have no attachment (or emotional attachment: ie. love) to any other human beings except this one. i think the oracle started the revolution, making them fall for one another and making smith who he is in revolutions.

kung iisipin mo, smith said that his purpose was to defeat neo and that we all know what happens to programs that have no purpose, they either get deleted by returning to the source or get exiled. he thought he was on exile by breaking free from the matrix and yet he cannot stop hunting neo down. in other words, in my opinion, he is still tied down one way or another to his new purpose which is to destroy neo. sabi nga ni neo eh that he fights not because his purpose is to fight smith but because "he chooses to". ito yun hindi maintindihan ni smith because he, like the merovingian believes that everything has a cause and operates in a systematic way.

in the end, a part of the oracle still exists within smith because biglang nag-blurt out si smith that every beginning has an end and he referred the one as "neo" not "mr.anderson" nung narinig ni neo yun, he knew that it was the oracle because smith never refers to him as neo. he realizes that for him to defeat smith, he must also die himself. he gave up his life to become a smith and once this is done, ex deuce machina inserted into him the source, thereby deleting smith as a program and its clones.

naaliw ako kay neo, he has become more than a human. it's like he's a machine all together. he can see them even if he's blind. kaya pala he can see baine because the smith that's inside him is also a program that's created by the machines. i don't think he sees trinity with all those orange glowing stuff around her. after he died, may respect yun machines sa kanya eh as they carried his lifeless body away. medyo ok yun part na yun.

pero the coolest character aside from neo must be seraph. ang cool eh ibang klase...there's even some who say that he's the previous one. something like kilala siya ng merovingian and he said that he had beaten smith before. (yun battle na yun no one knows when it happened)
We simply attempt to be fearful when others are greedy and to be greedy only when others are fearful.

jewo

yeah i agree, astig si seraph....hmmm...i wonder kng ano nga at kung kailan naganap ung laban nila ni smith? agent pa din siguro si smith noon

naaliw ako sa first part....sabi na karma is just a feeling..tpos ung nagsabi nun e ung race na believes in karma...la lang :D

yun isang medyo vague part sa movie is sati's role (the lil girl). siya yun unang product ng love between programs. nagulat nga si neo because its the first time he heard of such a thing.

sati is different in a sense that she has no purpose. kaya nga nasa train sila una to smuggle her into the matrix through merovingian. we all know that programs or machines without purpose will cease to exist and smuggling sati into the matrix is the only way for her to survive.

what i dnt get is how the oracle changed physically. i know the script has to change somehow because gloria foster died in the middle of the shooting but i still dont get it, gotta watch it again on how it happened.

one way or another, the matrix reloaded in the end. not everyone are free. that's why people are dissapointed because they want the humans to win so bad. pero in reality humans dont stand a chance. sa offensive pa lang nga ng mga machines, zion could be wiped out in a matter of minutes.

in the end there is only compromise. the war ended and the people inside the matrix will have a choice. there will no longer be agents who will stop them from leaving. ito yun promise ng architect sa huli with his insult to us when he said "what do you think i am? a human?" but still...the matrix is still there.
We simply attempt to be fearful when others are greedy and to be greedy only when others are fearful.

Oracle's changing of appearace was explained in the Matrix game. In the end, when Neo supposedly died already, the showed a scene of him still "seeing" the machines as yellow light. That might mean that he's still not completely dead yet.

PS A couple of weeks ago I read something on the Internet that was supposed to be a spoiler for revolutions, turns out the ending happened exactly was what the website said.
In a world of compromise, some don't.

haaayyyyy.....

mahal ko na si keanu!!!!

hehehe...joke......

remeber yung equation thing ni oracle?? i believe na kaya namatay si smith kasi di ba nga...smith is the negative and neo is the positive.....so....nung inabsorb ni smith si neo.....+ and - = 0......kaya bigla sya sumabog...

Mga various theories/debates ng mga matrix fanboys.

I thought Matrix:Revolutions was a good action flick and I think it's better to compare it to The Animatrix shorts as a "derivative" of the first movie.

Yung appeal medyo nawala because di na tayo na-intrigue unlike the first one.

We watched the first one because of one question: "What is the Matrix?"

So, happy reading na lang.

Here we go with the basics.

Zion is real! The Matrix is not.

The Matrix was designed to provide a mental stimulus for the human bodies connected to the machines as a source of power. This is the sixth version of the Matrix. There have been multiple versions of the Matrix because of a flaw in the program (kinda of like Windows). That flaw is giving individuals the ability to choose.

The first Matrix was designed as a perfect uptopia (see pt. I - Smith explains it to Morpheus; pt. II - The Architect explains it again) but humans did not accept it as real so they just kept waking up. It was redesigned to reflect our civilization at it's last stage before it was taken over by the machines (the year 1999).

The Architect's problem with this new design (the anomaly)of the Matrix is that it require individuals to think freely, i.e. choice. It was the Oracle that suggested he redesign the Matrix in this way. But since humans have choices, so must the programs sent to watch over them, i.e. The Agents, thus bringing us the problem that is Agent Smith. In Reloaded, The Architect continues to speak of the anomaly he is unable to get rid of, which is why at some point, he feels the only solution is to destroy the Matrix and those who are aware of it (the people of Zion) and start from scratch again.

The Oracle says it clearly in Revolutions. Agent Smith is the result of the anomaly trying to balance itself. Agent Smith began to think freely (see part I where he is freaking out while interrogating Morpheous) and the result was a negative one. Realize this, he is a similar program to the One so he is far more dangerous than a normal individual who makes bad decisions. Agent Smith's virus like behavior happened in EVERY VERSION OF THE MATRIX. The result would always lead to the same thing -- a system crash if they didn't quickly reboot the system. The same knee jerk reaction you have when you realize someone has sent you a virus.

The One program was created to solve this problem. But each version of the One ultimately failed. Neo is different, in Reloaded he choose the door that led to Trinity, not the door that RESETS the program. Note: The Architect even noticed that Neo's experience in the Matrix was different than all the rest, realizing he was the first of them to fall in love.

Onto Revolutions:

Neo's choice has changed everything. The system is still threatened by Smith's behavior, so the Oracle makes a new choice; one she has never done before because no version of the One has ever chosen the difficult path as opposed to the easy one of just resetting the system. She allows herself to become merged with Smith in the HOPE that she'll be able to help Neo when the time is right.

Neo makes another unique choice. He goes to the machine city and makes a deal with deuce ex machina that he will stop Agent Smith in exchange for peace. It was as simple as that to save Zion. Machines don't need very long to process that this may be a better idea than just constantly resetting the system.

At the end, Agent Smith says to Neo - "Everything that has a beginning has an end," as the Oracle is speaking to Neo through Agent Smith. Neo realizes it all along, the only way to end this is to sacrifice himself. The Oracle noted that Neo and the Source (the computer mainframe, the Architect they're all one and the same so don't get confused) are connected which is why he can control machines outside the Matrix. He uses this connection to his advantage. He becomes an Agent Smith and since all the Smith's are connected, the Source now has a lock on all of them and simply deletes them.

Some biblical references throughout the series.  The French Man (Merovigchian) is the Devil, just read the elevator button Morpheus presses when he goes to see him for the second time. The Architect represents God - i.e. the creator of the world and its destroyer whenever things don't go as he wants. He even has you to chose a select group of people to restart Zion again sort of like Noah's Ark. Neo is Jesus, the one who realizes that peace and love is the answer, not war. And the Oracle represents the Holy Spirit - the conciousness that resides in all of us.

-Andrew-

um...i dnt think neo was created to solve the problem. smith is not the result of an anomaly trying to balance the equation. it was clearly stated that neo was the sum of an unbalance equation inherent to the programming of the matrix (anomaly) during the architect's speech. si smith yun nag-adjust, not neo. the one was always there (5 previous times) but this time, in the 6th version, smith was different because neo killed him in the first movie, thus setting him free. remember in reloaded when smith is talking to himself and said something like "it's happening exactly as before" and another smith came in and said "well, not exactly" that is enough proof that it was the first time smith had the power to spread like the virus.

yup, there are hints that neo is still alive. kahit sa huli when the oracle was speaking to sati, i think she gave a hint. pero nothing concrete so far that would prove otherwise.

note: in the first matrix, neo's apartment number was 101. in reloaded when they visited mero, the floor of the restaurant was 101...hmmm..symbolisms...
We simply attempt to be fearful when others are greedy and to be greedy only when others are fearful.

ummmm question...

where do the machines intend to get their power now that the human race will be freed from the matrix?  ???
[url=http://Moonchild08.dragonadopters.com/dragon_

Benj

Not all humans would be freed, only those who would want to be freed.

I also noticed in the final parts of the movie that the ship Trinity and Neo was in went very high into the sky and they could see sunlight. In the first movie it was said that the humans scorched the sky to block the sunlight from entering, well I guess if the machines find a way to let the sun penetrate then they wouldn't need humans anymore.
