i agree na japorms ang mazda 3. how i wish they had also brought here the 5 door version which i think has more character than the sedan version plus with the 2.3L engine. drove my friends mazda 3 in US and it is really fun. include some pogi points to the car cute points sa driver

i don't know if how accurate this is.. but they are planning to release the hatchback i think mid october! the variants of it, i still don't know! wish they bring the 2.3L! but i doubt it! it may be expensive!

going back to my question re mazda's own variable valve, i double checked the engine specs of the mazda3 S and V variants, it says there "S-VT", i think this is the equivalent of VTEC and VVTi.

if indeed it is, then plus pogi points for mazda3 in the fuel efficiency dept!

Yung hatchback baka next year pa kasi mabenta naman yung sedan(lalo na yung 2.0).At expect mahal rin yun.

unfortunately, yes. puro matic ang Mazda 3 sa atin.  

Puro matic nilabas, but it has Active-matic for clutchless shifting.  Test drive a unit, it may change your perception about the transmission.

Yes, it has S-VT - Sequential Valve Timing.

yup!! sa tranny, imomove mo leftward yung  lever then if you move it up, downshift (-), and move it down, upshift (+) ! sana maganda response ng tranny!

do you own one? or have you atleast driven one? how can you say it's not a zoom zoom performance? let us know your thoughts and maybe i change my mind of selling my SIR to get mazda3R
