yung iba ang sop kunwari namamalimos ididikit yung mukha sa windows mo and they won't leave no matter how many times you tap your window.  tapos pag biglang nag go ay gone na ang sidemirror mo!

nangyari iyan sa friend ko along E.Rod pakanan ng g.araneta habang stoplight. nangyari ito ng mga 11 pm
pagdukot ng side mirror tumago agad sila sa may ilalim ng tulay banda..
nakakabwisit tlga mga taong ganun mga bata pa naman tsk tsk...

share ko lang yung auto ng friend ko, VX200 yun, nagda-drive sila along G. Araneta din galing E. Rod. bigla may nag-cut sa kanila na white na Camry tapos bumaba ang apat na lalaki, lahat may baril, yung isa naka m-16 pa... woooow.... ayun, kahit madami yung sakay ng vx, nakuha yung auto, wala silang nagawa.... gabi ito nangyari... Nakuha nila yung plate no. ng camry pero sabi ng LTO, hindi daw registered yung plate no na yun sa camry, kung hindi sa Hi-lander... it means na carnap yung auto.... tsk tsk... sayang yung  auto... kaya yung mahilig gumimik,,, iwasan niyo dumaan malapit sa G. Araneta... tapos kelangan pag gabi medyo mabilis kayong magmaneho at medyo mgaling sumingit ng konte, kc baka matyempohan kayo... ingat lang baka may mabangga kayo....

i frequent that area because some of my friends live there.   nakakatakot pero sometimes things like just happen...

Anyway I keep pepper spray in my car for that side mirror gang and I gave my girlfriend one just for the same reason.  When they come close pop the window down just a bit and spray away.

The pepper spray is useless though for a car full of goons with guns hehehe.  Sa kanila na kotse ko bahala na insurance sumagot

nabiktima rin kami dyan dala ng dad ko ung paj namin at in broad daylight biglang nawala ung side mirror sa intersection na un... tanong kami sa mmc kung mgkano side mirror, 9K ung kaliwa 10K ung kanan no choice but to pay again for my own side mirrors....

kaya ngayon nakabukas ako kahit na mainit pag sa intersection na yan!

Pag bukas windows mo, agaw cellphone naman modus operandi ng mga hayop na yan. Dapat talaga sa mga yan ginagawan na ng impyerno diyan eh.

my friend ako na biktima ng agaw cellphone na yan... sa stoplight ng quirino ave.... pag stop bigla nalang my sumulpot sa window nya den tinutukan sya ng knife den hiningi ung cell nya... walang nagwa friend ko sa sobrang shock ayun binigay nalang nya cellphone nya...

mas ok ung papalagay mo ng plate no. mo sa sidemirrors kc pag nakita ung nga mga lokolokong magnanakaw di na nila nanakawin ung mirrors mo kc pwede silang makulong pagnakita sila ng mayaari na binebenta nya ung sidemirror nya ( which is effective kc my nagkwento sakin na may nakulong dahil dito) and wala din bibili ng mirrors na yun kc my ibang plate no na....

the same thing happened to me a few days.. thats why i bought those sidemirror protectors...i hope it works this time

Would it be possible to rig the sideview mirror to trigger a pepper spray attack when the mirror is removed?  Wait... not pepper spray...cyanide gas na lang.  Anybody who can invent this contraption would become very rich indeed!

(OT) Anyway... ako naman, somebody tried to remove the rear emblem of my car just last friday evening.  The emblem was visibly damaged by what appeared to be a flat screw driver.  Bad trip!!!

Damn those people!!!!!  I hope their entire families burn in hell!!!!

They would be very dead too while still in the R&D stage of that side mirror triggered cyanide contraption

I haven't had my emblemed or side mirrors removed right under my nose yet, but I can see the grief of the people in this thread. it's no joke to have your second most expensive investment vandalized or stripped of any useful detachables. Wonder if anyone has already made a device that keeps the mirror in place?

Yeah I really hope they change their ways or just burn in hell....

Not only that...diba it's common practice for us to want to "see" the product in action before deciding to buy it.

Siguro magsusuot muna ng gas mask yung vendor or attendant before doing a demo of that product, if ever.
