yes, using purified or distilled water will avoid mineral deposits in your radiator.

oh! using distilled water will helP?! wow! d ko alam yun!?...anyways, guys speaking of radiator, just yesterday I have mine replaced with surplus and it was from Lancer 90 and mine is  89 kaya hindi match sa harness but then it still works coz of the screw holes konting innovative thinking lang...but I have a question, is it necessary to have two fans for my aircon condenser I only got one kasi b4, I was suggested to let my condenser be cooled whenever I have my aircon turned on...so now I have 3 fans installed...hehehe!
Lancer 1989 GLX
CARB system...not much to brag bout' my ride but I love it.

For me, having an extra fan will help make your aircon work better and of course cool your radiator faster, but I would advise caution because it might affect your electrical system and drain more from your battery and your car might not run properly after a few months.

Hindi dapat bumubulwak ang coolant sa radiator kahit na malamig or medyo mainit na ang makina mo. That is an indication na blown na ang headgasket mo.

after that repeat the process while ur engine is running, pero dapat mga 2 to 3 mins lang baka sumobra ka mago-over heat naman makina mo.

then add some coolant. kpag meron pa din bulwak, replace the radiator. last option.

If blown na nga yung head gasket ng auto ko, should I replace the cylinder head gasket na? Am I right, or left? What needs to be replaced ba? And since lagi ako nag a add ng water sa radiator, is that also an indication na crack na or warp na yung cylinder head? Please advise...it has been an annoying feeling na lagi ko iniisip na baka magoverheat auto ko...

Add ko lang po....what do you mean by top overhaul? Thanks :)

Pag blown ang head gasket, putok na yun. You have to replace it. Part ng checks sa blown headgaskets is checking flatness ng head kasi there's usually warping involve. Since tangal ang head to do all of these, might as well replace valve seals, check valve seating and replace the thermostat too. Once everything is put together, make you have a 50/50 mixture of cooland water.

also, let your mechanic check kung yung mga butas sa sides ng head e walang cracks. kung meron, pinapasok na ng tubig yung head mo, hence bumubuwak na tubig pag may umangat na piston. if may cracks na, malamang palit head na... :(
