got the chance to see my friend's newly applied Solargard tint, super black except the windshield, got it for P2,500 at Tintroom, Mayapis St. in Makati.

Too dark for me although he says he's fine with it, maybe it takes a little getting used to ;D
burn rubber, not your soul

3m superblack is ok especially at daytime. di na kelangan mag shades. ;) pero yung windshield i suggest yung medium lang.
at the end of the day, it's not where you are that's important. But where you're going...

kapag tinanggal ko yung previous tint ko sa rear..and replace it with a new one.. may possible bang masira yung defogger?

Does anyone use their defogger here in manila? I've never used mine hehe.

Back to topic, Where's winterpine? Im thinking of getting superblack or those clear tints for uv protection but i really prefer the privacy.

Everytime it rains at night, my aircon fogs up my rear glass. So I use my defogger quite regularly (I guess the distance to my rear glass is nearer since it's a 2 door).

Winterpine is on Araneta Ave. before you reach Xenon Bulbs (they're on the left side of the road) if you're coming from Aurora Blvd., it's a pretty big store so it would be hard to miss.

very good ang 3m.. love the tint very dark pero malinaw. if you think di kaya ng mata mo sa gabi yung super dark.. try mo medium front and back then super dark sides.

i love the superblack :) i've got them on my sides and rear. i got the lightest black sa harap. okay during night but not so during the day. i'll probably have them changed to medium black sometime. i've had my tint for almost 3 years and no problems like fading.

ok ren the resistance to scratches.

only problem is ang hirap makakita at night if you're using white headlights. sobra. i used to have white lights and superblack sa harap then i switched back to normal lights and much better na. i think i went for a shade too light though  :-[

if you're using whitish headlights, youd be much better off with magic na tint

If you damage your rear de-fogger you'll have to replace the whole rear windshield.

The botom line is you have to go to a place where the installers know what they're doing. You can tell them to take care and so on and so forth but if they're not really any good you're words will fall on deaf ears.
