3M superblack are good tints! have them for more than 3 years now and so far walang problem! although when compared to sungard, mas maganda ata ang new sungard heat resistance compared to 3M.

re the darkness at night.... our eyes adjust to the light emitted by the suroundings, so if you have very light tint sa windshield and dark tint all around, it would be difficult or it will take some time for our eyes to adjust....  :)

The botom line is you have to go to a place where the installers know what they're doing. You can tell them to take care and so on and so forth but if they're not really any good you're words will fall on deaf ears.

So if i have my tints remove and install sa winterpine sure na hindi masisira yung defogger? i have to hear a bad review or thread about winterpine.

Yes Winterpine would be a safe place to do your tints. I've been going there since I was in high school and their installers really stay with their company for many years.

i would go for winterpine too. they did my 3M clear tint and am very happy with it.

another place you can try is CATS. they do good jobs on tints din..

my personal preference: go for black/dark. i like the look na pag dark paint, magic tint. light paint, dark tint

Hi, I have the same concerns with "the_butcher" on having my car tinted and i have learned a lot from you guys. Can anyone give me the location to winterpine? thanks!

I cant decide if 3M magic black or 3M superblack. Which is better kaya?

blackrolla

go for super black for your metallic grey car :)

I called up winterpine and asked for an estimate. Mahal mag pa tint sa kanila but what the hell i wanna save my defogger sayang eh and kung totoong magaling naman talaga then theres nothing wrong throwing a couple of thousand bucks. Thanks all! :)

whatever you guys do, DO NOT go to AUTOZONE (pasong tamo) for tint. The tint they placed on my mazda6 is just terrible. There must be AT LEAST one bubble per square inch. You'd think the nice exotic cars they have there would mean they know their stuff. tsssss...  >:(

I had 3M CS Panther installed. The darkest hue for the sides and rear, the lightest for the front. It would've been perfect.

The 5 year old tint on our camry looks newer.

i think you should bring it back there! i think shops have a "guarantee" that when there are bubbles, they'll smooth them out or kung di kaya, replace it :)

Same happened to us in Roadstar Fort, we usually go to Alabang since i used to study there. The tint is bubbling and they couldn't do a one piece in the front, the sides are starting to get out already... And yes we followed the wait a week before opening the windows.

The install in fort had only 3days guarantee, kinda stupid.

I did suggest to my dad to try La cars: tint room (I heard they have good customer service there) or winterpine but it was too far...

Oh well. Live and learn
