I have owned a lot of soundstream amps.. Reference 300, 500, 700, 1000 and the Continuum. I admit that they have reliability issues but that is only true if you crank the volume without supplying them with the proper amount of current. They have excellent SQ. If you plan on using them on seperates, then i would highly recommend them over most amp available now. If u want to use them for subs, just make sure you have enough current to meet its demand as these amps are power hungry or else, watch them fry. ::)

moo pare, im planning to use the rubicon on the seps lang, pero ano sa tingin niyo mas magandang ilagay na amp ppi a600 [specs 150x2] o rubicon 502 [specs 100x2] kung ang seps ay 3way na dyn? ano sa dalawang amp ang mas magiging compatible sa seps and mas malinis tumugtog? tnx mga gurus

malinis...believe me....u wont hear any difference..

diff lang nila is...syempre mas malakas yung 150x2

go for the ppi a600. you'll need the power for more headroom.
a "bighead" results 2 endless nothingness -- teaches humility.

tnx mga gurus sa lahat ng inputs niyo, malaking tulong po sa akin ito!

I'd get the Rubicon kung pang seps lang..mas bago yun.. yung ppi a600 sobrang luma na nun.. early 90's pa

moo pare,
di po ba maganda pa rin ang art series ng ppi kaht na po luma na yun compare sa rubicon 502?

ajsl, if i were you i'd test both amps for the seps you plan to use so you yourself can decide which one you prefer but from experience, i would have to agree with moo pare that soundstream sounds more cleaner than the ppi art series. i've owned both amps thus i know how both sounds but buttom line is still personal preference.
