*sorry for being OT mods*

the tires were Falken GR Beta FK 451's, same priced as the Azenis ST115's but have a AA traction rating and a Y rating at 51 psi. I got them over the ST115's since maulan saten so I considered wet traction

I was just cruising along the skyway a few hundred meters after the Don Bosco exit when the car just swerved to the right. It was a sudden lane change from the fast lane to the shoulder accompanied by the smell of burnt rubber. Initially I though I experienced some short of suspension failure and feared the worst. Luckily there were no cars beside me, and in fairness to Falken, the tire failure wasn't abrupt to the point that it was a quick blowout

I had no signs of anything wrong before the incident happened. And I checked the tire pressure (31psi) before I left because I'm a bit obsessive compulsive on things

The remaining 3 tires are ok and show no signs of anything being wrong though I am going to get a fresh set of tires of a different brand for peace of mind.

I read reviews on the net that the FK451's had soft side walls but I didn't realize something like this would happen. Maybe I was just unlucky enough to have gotten a 1 in a million factory defect tire? I'm just happy I'm still alive!

fk451 is a good tire how did that happened?
