yes you can, BUT take a lot of precaution[/color], how?

1. start the car untill normal operating temp. wait till both the main and aux fans turns on.
2, turn off the engine and while waiting for at least 10min., go get urself a piece of rug.
3. turn on the engine again and slowly[/u], i mean very slowly, open the radiator cap but make sure to cover the cap with the rug or any cloth, preferably as large as a normal sized shirt just not to sputter the hot temp water.
4. observe the water temp guage till it reaches normal operating temp.
5. while engine is running, try to rev-up and observe the water inside the radiator. it should be in motion as the pump accelerates. otherwise, if it's not, then the culprit is ur thermostat.

goodluck!

try to disconnect the terminal of your aux fan then iconnect mo yung fan mo directly sa battery using wires, pag di gumana, aux fan mo sira, pero pag gumana, try to check ur fuse and relays

speedyfix

check replace the ff:
thermostat
thermoswitch
aux fan

they should all be working to maintain your temp at optimal levels ;D
