As expected...After all the drumbeatings, hype and lame excuses...The Rumble in the Jungle failed to materialize. A classic example of somebody doing a lot of talk but can not walk the walk.

And it was all fired up and ready to go as they said it was. Looks like they put too much fire and burnt it down to ashes. I just wish them all the luck in their future endeavors.  :)

Well, as the saying goes, " less talk less mistakes ". I don't call them bullshit artist for nothing. I wish they'd stop misleading the newbies, kawawa naman pag maloko nila yung mga bagohan at magkakaroon tuloy ng bad impression sa offroading. These are the type of people who gives offroading a bad name. Sana naman tigilan na nila ang panloloko nila!

Whew!!! Ouuuch! Tsk! Tsk! tsk!
Can I post my comments here without being deleted by the mods? Somebody told me that some AI mods here always delete the posts of members they despise and posts they dont like to hear. Is this true? Anyway, mods have all the prerogative to delete or block anyone they wishes. Im beginning to think this subject(Rumble Crumbles) has all the libelous contents in the making. I hope this one stays.
I just wish Peace to all the 4wheelers!!!

Acutally there was one moderator used to even edit the posts of people to his liking here as well. He's not a moderator here anymore.  :)

It's a good thing that this hasn't fired up to be another controversial topic.

Let the four wheels roll!  ;)

I cannot speak for all the mods in the other forums since I do not know most of them personally but since this forum is moderated by JohnQ and myself, I am quite certain that your post shall stay.  If it does disappear, I can guarantee to you that it was not of our doing.  We have made it a point to exercise utmost tolerance. At least in this board, if not in all the others.  The deletion of posts is rarely an exercised option in here unless the post is of detriment to the exercise of one's opinion or contrary to the purpose of the forum which, in this case, is the healthy exchange of ideas.  The objective here is to further the use of this medium for the exchange of knowledge or worthwhile subject matters.  I see nothing in your post that would run contrary to this.  Peace and happy trails!!

Si Kits Aragon at si Beeboy Bargas lang naman ang mahilig mang delete ng postings dito. I'm glad tinanggal na sila as moderators dito.
Like I said, gusto palaging bida......

mikaztro,
Check out the history of Offroading here in the Phils. I hope this thread will enlighten you on what those two characters did. http://www.autoindustriya.com/yabbse/index.php?board=2;action=display;threadid=5819;start=45

Paeng, yes i will check the thread. Tnx for the info.

Lil Nicky, As tough as your comments are, I conform to your observations that some individuals are taking advantage of the situation per se, but lets assure our 4x4 community that these things will not break the harmonious relationship and camaraderie we have. Let bygones be bygones. Tnx and peace to all!

I have watched this thread and kept from interfering or even including my own personal views regarding this matter.  Let me lay some cards on the table.  Those of you who know me, know that Kits and Beeboy are friends of mine.  I am not here to defend them.  I think they are capable of doing that for themselves if they wish to. I will be the first to say that they have had their mistakes, shortcomings, etc.. and that they are not saints.  None, in here can claim to be one anyway. (Anyone care to cast the first stone???)  What I cannot seem to understand is that there are so many in here that claim to be interested in reuniting the offroad community and yet, in the same breath, choose to utter criticisms that have no seeming benefit other than to kick someone who is already down.  That to me is not a trait of a decent person.  Beeboy has failed to come through with his much touted competition and it may be because sponsors backed out.  Maybe he over promised.  Maybe many offroaders did not care to join his event.  Maybe some feel that Beeboy is too arrogant or something else....I don't know which did him in the most.  Maybe one,  maybe all of the above. One thing I know is that it isn't easy bearing the burden of a failed endeavor.  Those of you that have experienced this know that the last thing you need is someone kicking you when you're down.  You're already kicking yourself and you don't need any more help in that department.

What is saddening is that there are many that seem to be extremely glad about this misfortune.  I don't know what your reasons are and maybe there really are deep wounds.  If this is the case, maybe it's time to let it out and bring closure to this matter.  We're all acting like crabs trying to bring the offroading community down and further tearing it apart.  I know the key players in here are not kids anymore so maybe it's time settle this matter as mature educated adults.  Maybe I'm mistaken.  I'm on the outside looking in.

One thing I can say is that there seems to be a renewed campaign to once again discredit and refocus on the faults from the past.  Is there renewed animosity between the previously "reconciled" factions?  I am not making judgements on the motives or the rationale behind this apparent character attacks.  I'm just stating the facts as I see them.  Like you guys, I've been a part of the offroad community for some time now and frankly, it's really tiring to see how we seem to make one step in the right direction and go two steps back.  Maybe it's time we gave it a rest and for goodness sakes lets not use the excuse that we are resurrecting threads or reviving links to prevent repeating the mistakes of the past.  It insults the intelligence of the people who do take these threads seriously and see through the diversionary tactics.  Peace to all.

Was there ever a reconciliation? You better ask your friends first if they were really bent on having a reconciliation. Fact is I don't really care if the offroad community is not united - dogs will always be dogs, much more the rabid types, so it's useless to try to reconcile with them. Brian and Mon just can't understand that and they insist that it is not futile to reconcile with some characters, look at what Kits did to them. I showed the link to mikaztro to let him know that Little Nicky's posts are based on hard facts. Point in case, beeboy is a bullshit artist! It's a fact! And if some people are kicking him now that he's down it's because he asked for it. I believe the newbies should know the truth that's why I posted a link to a thread that was eventually resurrected.
A lot of people are  glad about the failed endeavor of Beeboy, that's very true! Because they are hoping that the failure this time will somehow knock some sense in his head that he is not cut for that kind of job. He just doesn't have it. I am casting the first stone. I'm not saying I am a saint, but rest assured I haven't done anything to hurt the sport of off roading. Yup, you are right, kicking somebody who is down is not decent, kicking somebody is really not decent - but I'm gonna do it anyway because I want to do it, I don't have to be a hypocrite.

"Beeboy has failed to come through with his much touted competition and it may be because sponsors backed out.  Maybe he over promised.  Maybe many offroaders did not care to join his event.  Maybe some feel that Beeboy is too arrogant or something else"
There were no sponsors in the first place, and his excuses were so lame, imagine blaming the sponsors because they never wanted to be a part of the race? Beeboy is arrogant? No! He's just not credible and the offroad racing community knows that so why join?

Our 4x4 community is fast becoming a bed of a mud, very deep, full of ruts and non-navigable passage. A passage to give forth indignation and or gratification towards a group or individual whom they loathe nevertheless. Time will tell and only TIME will seperate the two points on this continuum. Anyway, lets look at the bright side, as long as its serves its purpose and clear things in perspective as well as telling the truth in a very subjective and transparent way....this will suffice. Tnx to everyone and may this thread be an eye opener to all of us. God Bless!!! :)

Yung wala nang turuan kung sino ang nag-umpisa, or kung ano ang maling nagawa nung isa kaya kailangan gantihan. When an apology is made and accepted, dapat wala nang maghahalungkat nung faults nung nakaraan. When a hand is extended as a gesture of peace - wag nang duraan. Just speaking my mind! PEACE!"
