I don't see any reason why this would destroy your engine in whatever manner....

hindi masisira, you have nothing to worry if your concern is the health of your engine  

but performance wise depends on the actual performance of the filter that you install...dun lang nagkakatalo

call this weird but i got better mileage when i have my CAI installed.  

malakas pasok ng hangin?  in way cguro-- but the one which does the trick is the COLD AIR that gets into your engine (or chamber?).

Good CAI = More Response

   Hinde malakas ang pasok ng hangin but the suction of colder air gives u the performance u want from that certain CAI . The colder air that enters ,the more power .

   Hinde masisira ang makina yet it is true tha ur gas mileage will be affected but not that much pero noticeable .

safe yan. walang problema. mas makakatipid pa nga sa gasolina pag ng palit nito pero kaunti difference lang.

IMHO better fuel efficiency kasi well combusted ung gas mo! IMHO malakas lng ang kain ng gas kasi baka mas gigil ang apak kasi naaliw sa tunog...

Lalakas consumo dahil hataw ka ng hataw. It sounds better so you want to hear the sound again and again.

bnew mga 12k. . . kng may available, usually puro honda ang available. . .dnt know wer to get for a lancer

AFAIK meron naman gumagwa ng custom cai

sa erl alam ko gumagwa sila  

what you would surely notice is that your oil would become dirtier sooner.... this is because the stock air filter cleans better but sacrifices airflow.....
