Guys,

I'm thinking of adding an equalizer and crossover. a friend suggested that i get the Audiocontrol EQX (2nd hand will do).

my question is how do you rate this? is there any other good brands other than Audiocontrol and Kicker?

OK naman EQX.

But for me siguro OK na iyong mga 1/2 DIN na EQ, since Revo naman ang sasakyan mo, para mapuno mo iyong 2-DIN slot.

WaZ

maganda din yung PG na eq and PPi, how about DqX hehe, mas bago pa  :)

Raymond:

mas prefer ko hideaway yung units eh. K.I.S.S. ang motto ko.  ;D

WaZ:

Haven't seen PPI and Phoenix gold. Yung DQX, definitely nice but way out of my budget. ;)

Ok yang AC EQX sana puwede mo malagay sa glove box mo or sa center console mo para pag mag adjust ka you don't have to run back and fort sa unit .

kanina nag window shopping ako sa banawe. May na-come accross akong lumang Alpine na Active Crossover. Ask ko lang how would you rate this one. Forgot ko yung model number.  :(. but for your sake, I'll drop by bukas to get yung model and ipost ko agad.  :D

Try it out first just make sure na walang noise and kung good price naman go ahead. ;)

Bro, puno na yong glove box ni tebenets dahil andoon yong cd changer nya nakalagay. Your second advise would be the best he can do.

KeWlRyDs

or he can have a custom pull-out tray underneath either front seat to hold the ac eqx. ;D

Bos Andrew:

Yan idea mo ang talagang gusto kong mangyari. ;D ;D ;D

kasi right now, nagbabalak ako install ng rails sa 2nd row seats ko. since magkakagap yung seat sa floor, dun ko lalagay yung amp for the sub and yung crossover.

Have already talked to the installer (you know who  ;D). ok daw yun kaya lang kelangan maiwasan yung biglang magslislide palabas.  ;D ;D

Going back to the topic.

Kanina iniisip ko kung kelangan ko talaga ng Crossover since yung amp na 4-channel e may built-in na. and in fact almost all amps na nakikita ko e may built-in crossovers na.

Gurus: this is my question:

since I will use the 4 channel amp to power my front 3-way seps, is it neccessary for me to get a dedicated crossover? Note that semi-active ang gagawin ko. ???

KeWlRyDs

you can use a dedicated crossover in your system. actually, it depends on what you have in your system right now.

Sir Kewlryds, I'm planning to put an Audio control EQX, But im afraid I might get statics with it, It is known to have be a good eq but it is also known for its static.
What are the the EQ brands that dont have static (EQ that you used that dosen't have a static.)?
Long live Rock and Roll.
