practice slowly... try to feel the brakes with your foot and legs.

Practice with a matic. Never practice when there are lots of cars around!
In a world of compromise, some don't.

I second this statement. Found this out the almost hard way  :-[

don't use left-foot braking in ordinary daily driving.. its useless unless A/T ang car mo.. u can use it only when in the track for specific corners where you need braking while naka-alalay sa gas..

you use this when approaching a curve where you don't need to downshift to a lower gear..  like if its a 3rd gear corner and you approach it in 3rd and u just need to brake a little and carry your speed around the corner still in 3rd.. and also balance the car with the gas and brake (aka "driving with your left foot") you can actually induce a slight oversteer to point the car into the corner.. ex. the slight left hand turn (2nd turn yata) in SIR before approaching the bus stop chicane.. also in BRC when entering the long sweeping left (bryan's corner).. slower cars can use this style..

when u need to downshift, don't use left-foot-braking then heel-toe coz it will unbalance the car when transferring your left foot from the brake to the clutch, and ur right foot from the gas to the brake simultaneously.  its better to brake with the right foot all the way...  ::)

mahirap hirap yata 'to ah..

mga gear heads...heel n toe, left foot braking and all that racing stuff is done on the track ONLY!....so pls never ever practice on the streets...meron kayo BRC and SUBIC for that, they`re great venues and safe pa..

downshifting/engine brake/emergency brake:
