sirs, aside from the factors already discussed by theveed,  what are the arguments for or against having your car painted at the casa? mitsubishi/diamond motors in particular. thanks!

Check first if the casa really has painting facilities. More or less kasi sina-subcon din nila iyong oto mo sa painting shops sa labas, which may either be bad or good.

If this is the case, edi dun ka na sa shop na alam mo na mapagkakatiwalaan, or better yet, kung kakilala mo may-ari.

the price of washover is the almost the same or minsan cheaper pa if you have it done sa mga paintshops...

way better than casa IMO

that's a very good point, raymond. i was also thinking of having my car's paintjob to be done by some casa but upon knowing that it would just be subcontracted made me think twice.

never have your car painted at casa, subcontract yan sure, unless nabangga or nagasgas kotse mo: kung claiming insurance ka edi ok papalitan nila yung panel with brnd new painted one by just paying the participation fee.
