I think it's too early to say if the Honda Jazz has "clicked."   :)

but IMO, I think Filipinos generally prefer sedans over hatchbacks.  ::)

splukutum

yup...too early to tell if it did click

Adrian

agree.  its a fact that econo-boxes only has a certain niche here.  think about the 206.  ;) but im sure the jazz can do better than the little heartbreaker in the market--

+ think about enthusiasts who's eyeing on swaps, and installing sleek kits from mugen,  8) i believe honda can expect added sales from this group. :)

give it a little time and it will click for sure. my prediction is that these subcompact cars like the jazz will be the answer to rising fuel prices. with that it will translate to higher demand for these kinds of vehicles.

im sure the consumers are still testing the waters. once they get their feet wet, it will be all good for honda jazz.

Mas type yata ng pinoy ang sedan than hatchback, oh baka naman its early to say the outcome of jazz sales.

you can get a full sized sedan with a 1.6 engine for a couple of thousand bucks more so why bother getting a small hatchback with a 1.3?  Yes there is a small market for the Jazz but no way will it rival the sales of the 4 door sedans like the Lancer and Corolla.  Toyota found that out three years ago with their Echo line.

As of last month, 140 units were sold. Not bad for a first month. I think a fair conclusion can drawn at least on the first six months. Masyado ka naman excited to get into conclusions ReD_SiR.

yup! its too early to say.... but IMHO the price tag for the jazz is too expensive for its size... coz with its current price if you can save a little more money you can buy a sedan with a 1.6L engine... or you can buy the city 1.5L engine which is much cheaper than the jazz...:)

I don't think they'll price it low enough to kill the City. Because the City is produced locally, so they still have to support their operations. The Jazz is imported, so they just have to forecast sales and import the units they plan on selling.

i see quite a lot in the shop but that's because we're right beside honda shaw... hehe!

i think it's selling better than the toyota echo's did... or even the atoz or other cars na similar:)

We were inquiring about the jazz cause were planning to get one and the sales representative said that it will take 3-4 months before the car will be release, I don't know if they had only imported small quantity of jazzes but somewhat our market is appreciating it like those hatchbacks FYI:It was called the people's car 10 years ago but then the difference between two are prices :)
