I read that aside from F1, the WRC will also be axed....Ford will restructure the racing programme and conserve its resources for now for a proper and huge assault in the future. David Pitchford said that Ford will come back in as an official works team (Ford colors) with a rumored huge financial backing being worked on from China?

No big surprise with the F1 results they are getting.  Each time they race, the Jaguar name gets a battering.

Surprised about the WRC decision though if true cause they are doing much better there.

Resources more than anything has caused Ford to temporarily abandon F1 thru Jaguar.

OT lang ha.....the WRC programme has been in doubt since the beginning of this season but thanks to Malcolm Wilson they have been able to continue nicely...There is a new Ford Focus in the market and to develop the new car will entail huge sums of money kaya nag "iipon" ang Ford. Wilson hopes to get some support however to continue his team till the he gets the go signal to develop the new car.

it's depressing if you think about it... especially if you consider that way back then, nearly all teams on the F1 grid used Ford-Cosworth engines.

a thought just came across my mind: things could have been different for Jaguar F1 had they been able to get Adrian Newey to be their chief designer.
