havent heard the focals yet but ive heard the rainbows and i think they sound good. if u have the proper eqpmt, i dnt think there is a reason for ur system not to sound good. focals or rainbows, i dnt think u will hav a problem. try to go to audio competitions and almost always the setup sound the same. this is the ideal thing because what we are after  is accurate music reproduction so in the end tuning is the key, but then dont think u can make a targa sound like the higher end speakers because speakers have limitations also. tuning is key and if properly tuned, both will sound the same.
