I'm officially canceling my Fortuner reservation this week. The wait is too long for me.

Anyways, what are your opinions regarding this specific car? Both good and bad criticisms are welcome.

k.o

it's like the 2.4V but w/o the leather, wood paneling, optitron gauges, mp3 player, lighted vanity mirrors, electronically adjustable front and rear seats, power rear sun blind.

but you still get front and rear parking sensors and HID headlamps!  ;D

borly

pls do ocnsider that the camry is in its halfway mark na...

i'd go with fortuner kasi it still has a long way to go for me...

but if u don't mind what i jst mentioned then by all means the camry is a good car! :)

although I think the 2.4E is a good value buy, I still think the 2.4V is the one to go for. aside from the wood grain panels and leather upholstery, I think the power adjustable front seats are worth the extra expense. the seating position of the non-power-assisted front seats is just awkward IMO.

given the comments above, for me it would be a bit too bare for a car in its class...

however, if you feel that such added features arent really  a necessity for you given the added costs... then the 2.4E should serve you well

big chips

i like the camry's exterior over its competitors...

OT: is the V6 camry still available and is it true that its 1.7m?

XL

DTNS,

The 2.4E now comes with mp3 and optitron gauges.

About the interior, I didn't really like wood panels very much. The way I figure it, I'll just spend a little more later on the interior so that it would be at par with the 2.4V.

Regarding the seating position... Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the manual adjust do the same thing as the power assisted one? (I mean in the sense that it moves all the parts that the power assisted one can move)

k.o.,

Actually, sa 4x2 diesel nga ako nakapila, I'm 5th in line overall, and 2nd in line in my color preference. You see, I changed my mind because of 2 things:

#1. The wait will be too long for me.

#2. The engine is too underpowered.

knoxville,

Yup, it's still available at 1,710,000.

the manual seats only adjusts in 4-ways. the power seats are 8-way adjustable.

I thought HID'S only came with the 3.0 model?

The facelifted 2.4's aren't as bare as they used to be.  ;)

Although I have to admit, I'll have to work on the interior of the 2.4E.

:)

BL,

For as long as you're willing to forego the flexibility of having an SUV, I'd say that the 2.4E is a good choice.  :)  You'll have to fork out some more $$ for a better interior tho.
