Last Wed night as I was on my way home riding my bike, I was caught by a red light as I was crossing an intersection. Not wanting to cause an obstruction, I started to move towards a sidewalk in front of a Shell gas station. I kept my eye on the oncoming cars even though I was clear from them. It was then when I noticed a white Revo taxi speeding towards me trying to bump me on purpose. I leapt towards the sidewalk trying to avoid him. Upon gathering myself, I noticed that the Revo stopped for gas at the gas station. I then confronted him about it. A heated argument ensued. During the argument, the driver kept showing me that he wanted to pull something out his pocket. I told him, "Kung gusto mo ng away, lumaban ka ng patas." Then his wife who was beside him intervened and said "Nakikiusap ako sa inyo. Lumayo na lang po kayo." The driver shouted to me, "Ang tapang mo ah. Ilan na ba ang napatay mo?" I then left them and went on my way. As I just mounted my bike, I heard him shout "Asan na yon." When I looked back, I saw him running towards me with a fan knife. I got down from my bike and raised it up to shield me from the knife. He kept coming near me so I back tracked till I reached the middle of the intersection. It was then when MMDA enforcers noticed the commotion and called 2 PSG cops who happened to be passing by. I shouted to the cops, "Balisong. May balisong yan. Sasaksakin ako." When the driver saw the cops approaching, he immediately dumped the knife into a canal. The cops then intervened and I kept telling them that the driver was trying to stab me. Apparently, a streetkid witnessed the whole account. From the moment the Revo was trying to run over me to the time when the driver tried to get rid of his knife. The boy then retrieved the knife from the canal and surrendered it to the responding cops. The driver kept shouting, "tang ina mo. Wala akong balisong. Asan ang balisong ha?" The cop then showed up with the knife. The driver then shouted, "Magrereklamo ako. Aabot ito kay Colonel blah blah blah (I cant remember the exact name)." The wife shouted, "****** ina mo. Anong balisong sinasabi mo? Walang balisong ang asawa ko. Ikaw ang lumapit sa amin." I answered, "Hoy walang colonel colonel dito ha. Sasaksakin mo ako anong colonel colonel pinagsasabi mo? Ipakukulong kita. Idedemanda kita. Tutuluyan kita." A mobile police vehicle then brought us to Station 8 in Stop n Shop Sta. Mesa. Here is what ensued in the station:

Cop: Kanino itong balisong?
Me: (pointing to driver) Kanya po.
Driver: Hindi sa akin yan. Malay ko saan galing yan. Baka sa kanya (pointing to me).
Cop: So walang aamin sa inyo? Tanungin natin ang testigo.
Kid: (pointing to driver) Sa kanya po.
Driver: Eh kinausap na niya yang bata kanina pa eh.
Me: High ka siguro sa drugs kaya kung ano ano ang naiilusyon mo.
Cop: O sige tapos nitong blotter, ibaba na natin sa imbestigador ito.

Imb: Kanino itong patalim?
Driver: Hindi sa akin yan. Kanya yan (pointing to me)
Me: Kung akin yan, bakit ako ang hinahabol mo? Muntik ko pa tamaan yung isang taxi sa pag atras ko sa gitna ng kalsada.
Imb: Meron testigo dito. Tatanungin ko siya ha. Sino ang may hawak nitong patalim nung nakita mo?
Kid: Siya po (pointing to driver)
Cop: Paano mo nasisiguro sa kanya ito?
Kid: Ako po ang nakapulot nito nung hinulog niya sa canal nung papalapit ang mga pulis.
Imb: (In Tagalog) You have the right to remain silent..... You are being arrested for illegal possession of a deadly weapon and assault with a deadly weapon.

While the investigator was taking the statement of the witness, the wife approached me.
Wife: (in a voice that would put a lamb to shame) Nakikiusap po ako. Pagpasensiyahan niyo na yung asawa ko.
Me: Misis, hindi po maaari yang sinasabi ninyo. Huli na po para pagpasensiyahan kayo. Dapat kanina pa kayo humingi ng dispensa nung nahuli kayo.
Wife: Eh sino na po maghahanap buhay para sa amin?
Me: Iyan din ang tanong ko sa inyo kung hindi ako nakailag kanina. Quits na tayo kaya huwag niyo na itanong sa akin yan.
Wife: Buti pa kayo may pera. Kami walang wala.
Me: Aba misis. Walang mahirap o mayaman kapag buhay na ang pinaguusapan. Hindi nabibili ang buhay.
Wife: Eh walo po anak naming. Hindi pa nakakapag enroll.
Me: Baby pa anak ko. Muntik na ako mamatay nang hindi ko pa naririnig na tawagin ako ng anak ko.
Wife: Eh ikaw kasi eh. Minura mo siya eh.
Me: Misis, mawalang galang po pero di po ako pinalaki ng magulang ko na maging tanga. Kung ikaw kaya tangkain sagasaan, matutuwa ka? Huwag niyo naman umpisahan ang nangyari sa pagmumurahan namin. Ano ba ang nangyari bago kami nagmurahan? Minura ko ba siya ng walang dahilan?
Wife: Hindi ka naman babanggain nun eh.
Me: Huh? Nakaupo ka sa harap. Tulog ka ba? Lagpas na ako sa pasukan ng Shell nung bubungguin ako ng Revo niyo.
Wife: Hindi ka naman sasaksakin nun eh.
Me: Ah ganun po ba. Gaya ng sinabi ko sa inyo, hindi ako tanga.
Wife: Eh paano na kami ngayon?
Me: Hindi ko problema yan. Gumawa kayo ng katarantaduhan. Handa pumatay ang asawa mo kaya panindigan niya yan.
Wife: Eh hindi pa kasi nakakaboundary eh. Mainit ang ulo.
Me: Nakupo. Kung wala pala kayong benta eh sapat na dahilan na para pumatay kayo ng tao. Ano ba kinalaman ko sa benta niyo ha?
Wife: Saan ka ba nakatira?
Me: Kunin mo sa imbestigador ang address ko. Iintayin ko kayo ha. Resbakan niyo ako kung gusto niyo.
Wife: Hindi mo ba kami ma forgive?
Me: Hinde. Kung patawarin ko kayo, tiyak may iba kayong papatayin maliban sa akin.

Pare, kung may kakilala ka na tirador kausapin mo yung mga pulis, sabihin mo ibalato sayo, tapos bahala ka na.
