What is more economical?

With prices between unleaded and diesel only 1.59 pesos apart with unleaded being the higher one. What do you guys think is more economical? A 2.5L A/T Turbo Diesel Isuzu Crosswind or an entry level City/Jazz with 1.3L M/T?  My dailyroute is Banawe-San Juan-Manila-Banawe-San Juan-Manila and finally Banawe.

What use is the vehicle for. Is your daily route because of errands or business. I think the city/jazz will be economical in terms of consumption.
The only difference between Men and Boys is the size and price of their toys...

I would go for the City/Jazz too

Protege Mania

my vote goes to the Jazz, unless you would periodically (meaning, almost often) need cargo space or haul more than 3 passengers and you don't have an extra car.

basically it is used for children service to and from school.

ah sa Jazz na lang

like how many kids? f u have a lot then get the xwind. But that xwind a/t is slow man. Get the jazz na lang, cute pa.

are you getting a brand new unit? if you want an automatic diesel, I suggest the Innova G 2.5 D-4D instead of the Crosswind AT. btw, I used a Revo GLX diesel for my daily drive when I was in college. my daily route was Paranaque-QC (going to Ateneo), passing through the East Service Road, C5, Libis, then Katipunan. I could make my full tank (around 40 liters) last for a little over 2 weeks. ;)

I'd suggest an Innova if you need to carry kids, maid/s, and cargo. but if you don't need to do a lot of cargo/people-hauling, I suggest a Jazz.  :)

I'd pick the crosswind for a number of reasons.

1) Economical

2) Cargo Space

3) Ground clearance.

4) Diesel

I feel more confident driving a pickup/Auv nowadays, especially rainy season is coming.

Manila and Banawe or rainy days?

Better pick up the Crosswind. :)

magandang suggestion din ang Jimny. mataas ang ground clearance at matipid din sa gas.  :)

The fuel economy will depend on the driver, If he has a heavy  right foot then even if he gets the Diesel crosswind eh malakas din yun sa gas. But i think the jazz would be more economical on the highway as long as the driver drives it economically. Since you don't plan to carry lots of stuff only little passengers on the car, a 1.3L jazz would be more suitable.

Yes, the Jazz 1.3 is economical, but will it still be when it carries 2 or 3 kids, plus their bags?

The 1.3 Jazz is underpowered.

I'm also thinking of safety when carrying those kids.

I'd rather have them on a bigger more sturdy vehicle.

Since the Crosswind is included in the choices stated in the TOPIC, i'd readily pick it.

Kids will have their friends, classmates, art-projects, picnics, breakfast, lunch plus the reasons I stated in my recent post.

Trust me you are going to have a hard time having the Jazz your kid's school service. You'll end up wearing down your Jazz's interior due to lack of space.
