Hope you guys be aware of the quality of your wheels. My friend emailed me these pix of his fortuner. I was shocked by what happened to the wheels. Better be warned or be sorry.

Just want to ask would we know if the wheels we are buying are really dependable. Any suggestions.. Thanks everyone.

looks like rims on some of the concept 1 cars. what brand is it?

the bingkong should have caused damage but in no case should the inner portion separate from the lip. that's just plain bad manufacturing.

Yeah, what brand of wheels are those?  I'm curious.  Sayang pa naman if you bought cheap wheels for a Fortuner.  If you have a nice car, buy naman quality wheels.

They're leonardo wheels.  :-\

By the way if you click the last image and enlarge it, you'll see the brand. I admire this brand but not when i saw what happened to this one. This is not an ordinary thing to happen. Say, you're with your family running at 90 kph. You wont like what will happen. Really, it will be a sad thing. This is just plain low quality manufacturing thing!

Oooohh... mega bummer.  :-\

euromeister

definitely not supposed to happen.  in other countries the manufacturer would get sued.  that brand of rims is currently popular.

ouch! so, tama pala sinabi ng friend ko about that brand!  :o

daammnnn.... thats just plain wrong... it wud be understandable if the fortuner was in a major collison. bingkong with tires as thin as those on 20s is acceptable but the face separating from the rim itself is dangerous.

Manga

bling on danger? So the brand should not be recommended at all.

WOW !! first time ive seen that kind of damage ! pano pala to nangyari? and on 20s? kasi sa alam ko nga 20s pa on a fortuner is kinda small tsaka pag nakakita ako ng 20s makapal pa yung tires nya so this one is really a defective wheel i think, ano ginawa ng concept one? magbabayad ba or refund or something? i think that they should do something ! lakas pa naman nila mag advertise tpos poor quality pala ....

well you get what you pay for ... :P
