Now a days i find jobs are hard to find not unless you are the cream of the class.... anyways, it doesn't mean that you will get a job related to what you have studied because of the availability of that job...

so what i would tell you is pray to God that he would give you a job that is really for you suiting for His purpose for you... ;)

Hmmm.. tired of bumming around and want to work?

Yep I got to agree with the people here that call centers will give you some good experience with customer service :) Believe me, I know first hand how important customer service is

But for economics? Hmmm... I need to think that further

ano ba career plans mo? what do you want to achieve? what do you want to be? short term? long term?

as early as now dapat may view or idea ka on what your objectives are. otherwise, by the time you're 35 dun mo lang narealize na "why are you still doing the same thing for the last several years" whereas your classmates are abroad earning 6 figure salaries anually,  they are managers or starting up their own business or companies.

hmm... well my plan is to look for work muna. im going for good training with not so bad pay like sa banks. ok sana sa banks eh... but from what i hear, baba pay.

eventually, im planning to put up my own business. but for now i want to work muna for a corporation that can provide good training.

line of work na gusto ko? hmm... analytical, research, marketing, management...

basically anything that entails some amount of analysis and creativity.  ;D

thanks for the replies  :)

beggars cant be choosers  ;D like in any team sports, no one will pay a rookie millions of dollars until after the season when he has hoisted the mvp trophy or championship ring. unless of course you're a phenom like lebron   ;D

start off somewhere, kahit mababa sweldo. work your way up. you have to prove yourself first in any organization. as you build up your experience, knowledge, network and credentials it will be much easier to move to bigger corporations which offer more training and compensation. its not easy as you think. you cant always be spoon fed. you cant have it both ways.

go for multinational companies...for banks, consider HSBC, SBC and Citibank... you might also want to consider telecom companies i.e. Globe and Smart...you may also want to consider companies like Unilever, P&G... SMC...Unilab...ang dami!

... dagdag pa... Caltex, Shell, pharma companies... apply ka to as much companies as you could para marami kang options

If you plan is to start up a business, think ahead and be specific. What kind of business should you setup in xx amount of time? What studies should you take up? What experiences should you learn? What financial help should you get? Whatever you choose always keep the end result in mind. It should be realistic, time bound and attainable. That way you can develop steps how to achieve it, track your development and do a reality check if you are accomplishing what you set yourself to do in relation to time or somesort of measurement to manage your goals. If not, implement plan b - ask money from parents  ;D For example(and an example only) if your career goal is to be a manager 1st step is to get a job. Expose yourself in technical projects for 1 year. in another year you should be project lead, in another year dapat goup lead ka na. add another 1 year for experience and development of your managerial skills. On the 5th or 6th year pede ka na mag apply as department manager if you feel you have achieved the requirements you set for yourself.
