katatapos ko lang magtune-up ng auto ko, everything from change oil up to cleaning. ung cooling system ng auto ko eh talagang problema, maraming beses ng nangyari i2 pero nasosolve naman. sa laging mag-drain ako ng coolant o tubig, laging ganun ang problema, bulwak nang bulwak ng tubig ang radiator ko. kung ung water pump ang tatanungin eh bagong palit un and still working fine pati ung thermostat. ang verdict ko ngaun eh, ung thermostat kc pag everytime na mag-drain ako and fill-up again, palaging ganun ang nangyayari. so i changed it once and still maganda pa rin ung thermostat, d ko alam kung baliktad ba ang lagay ko sa thermostat sa housing o ung hangin sa ibaba ung lower hose, kc dati ganun ang gnagawa ko, pinapump ko ung lower hose para malawa ung hangin while filling up the radiator and engine running. ngaun lang talaga naging grabe as in dumating na sa overheating. i consulted my handbuk pero naguguluhan ako ngaun, dumaan na rin ako sa friend kong mekaniko but he's busy and doing many service out of town. baka meron kaung experiences like this then u solve bk pwedeng makahingi ng advice, ngaun eh tatanggalin ko muna ung thermostat and check kung ganun pa rin. alam ko ganito din sa mga civics, pero d ko alam ung in-depth na problema sa kaso ng mga civics. i need help!

or oil in your radiator/ sludge in your engine.

so kung bumubulwak paakyat yung water basta walang bula yung radiator ang may sira hindi yung cylinder head, ganon po ba?

first of all, di mo kailangan i-pump yung lower hose para ma-bleed mo yung hangin. meron namang bleeder bolt yan, usually near the cyl. head where the upper rad. hose is attached. u should loosen this bolt while feeling you coolant hanngang maging free flowing then tighten it afterwards when you have completely filled the rad.

as per ur case naman, have your rad flashed and cleaned muna kasi this is the easiest and cheapest way to go. kung ganun pa rin, it needs top overhauling na.

sir try this, in the morning, before you start the engine, lagyan mo ng tubig yung radiator without placing back the radiator cap. start engine, then rev it hard, pag lumalabas ang tubig dun sa lagayan ng radiator cap, then its your cylinder head gasket.

try to check also your thermostat, thermoswitch, the auxiliary fans, yung timing belt since it causes retarded timing. check the upper and lower radiator hoses baka may leak.

kung cylinder head gasket, have it replaced immediately kasi iinit at iinit ang makina ng auto mo, pwedeng maging dahilan to para magkaron ka ng warped or depormadong cylinder head. hope this helps.

tanong po ulit... paanong bulwak ng tubig sa radiator, malakas yung tapon ng tubig na parang tumatalon na?
kung hindi naman tumataas yung temp gauge yung nasa normal pa din, puwede pa din ba na head gasket yung may problem?

sorry po ang daming makulit na tanong gusto ko lang po malaman yung pagkakaiba sa sira ng head gasket sa radiator, halos pareho kasi ng symptoms nila...

the easiest way to do it is to have the radiator either overhauled or replaced. kung ganun parin after then you rule one cause out and go for the headgasket na.

wag mo na patagalin yan kasi lalala ng lalala lang yan. we have a car in the shop now that has pure sludge na for oil kasi naghalo oil and water nya. full overhaul na kelangan nya kasi dami nasira... sayang lang and try mo agapan agad.

by the way, you can't install the thermostat baliktad and if your mechanic did, he shouldn't be a mechanic...
