Sources from TMP have informed me that they will be releasing a 4x2 version of their popular RAV4 to reach more consumers.

After seeing that it has become popular among young individuals, they have decided that a 4x2 variant which will be priced just below 1-Million pesos for those who want a RAV4 but only have an Altis budget.

sa tax sceme ngayon, it has a competative price but pag na implement yung bagong tax sceme, pati yung revo,xuv,adventure, their prices will soar upwards.......the most expensive would be the xuv... price around 1.3m a piece....pray na di ma approved to....

i read something in the paper na they would extend the additional taxes hangang march...

d ako sure though  

okay yun rav 4 4x2, pero mas okay talaga ang 4x4 variant yun nga lan pricy! sana nga di ma-approved yun tax scheme!

dalawang competitor ang siguradong tatamaan niyan: Ford Escape 4x2 at Honda CR-V!  

the rav4 has a teaser sa inquirer bout releasing one soon with a 1.8 engine and a cheaper price...

1.8L ba ang magiging engine nito? kung ganon malamang 3dr version ng RAV4 ang ilalabas nila.

  As indicated in the newspapers.... upto end of may pa postponement ng new tax scheme....another thing is if that would push thru ( sana hindi), old inventories should be depleted and the new tax applied to new produce vehicles..... sinong tangang car assembler ang magproproduction na walang bibili..... see what Mitsu did they imported lancer CBU from thailand.... 5 % tax lang because of AFTA where we are a member. So other will follow suit... I heard Honda will follow..... kawawa ung affected sector na don ang trabaho.... dahil sa dalawang gago sa gobyerno marami madadamay.... my apology to my words.....

What are you trying to speculate again?

5 door parin ang RAV4, difference is 1800cc engine and 2WD.

Great move by toyota, IMO mas bebenta pa yung mga 2wds nila kaysa sa mga 4x4s.   I dnt agree with the 1.8 engine though, parang underpowered yata.
