Hi!

I'm new to this board. Going sa pinas this april for the first time after 12 yrs and wondering if there are any offroad store along manila or nueva esija (correct my spelling). Looking to buy some stuff there. Might get it cheaper there.

looking for some Lockers
Detroit Softlocker
ARB air locker
or OX Trax

or can anyone tell me what kind of lockers do you guys run on your diff.

What about T-case. Any Dana300 or Dana 241 (rock trak).

By the way, it's for 2000 jeep wrangler sport I6 4.0 manual trans.

Thanks for your help in advance!

Freeman

No way you can get any of those lockers here at a cheaper price than from where you are.

ARB air lockers, lock rights are favorites here.

sixpack

Freeman is right...you must be very lucky to get that parts cheaper here.

Jeep parts are scarce in the Philippines.  For they TJ Wrangler, they'll almost be nonexistent.

Never heard of the Dana 241-- only the NP or NV 241 or Rocktrac NVG241J (used by the Rubicon).  I don't even think there's a single Wrangler Rubicon in the Philippines.

I mean New process / New Venture Gear 241J. Its been used in dodge trucks. What about Dana 300. It was used in old CJ from 80 - 86 model. I know there is someone rebuilding those.

i dont think rubicon will be hitting the PI. They're only building 9000 of them and youre lucky if you are on the list. It pretty hard to get on in here too.

But anyway, thanks a bunch and I guess I'll be buying it in here.

Not familiar with all the T-cases on Dodge trucks.  Most of the 70s versions and early 80s 3/4 and 1-tons will use the NP 205.  I thinks Dodges used divorced cases.  Anyway, if you do find a 241 in the Philippines, it won't have the 4 to 1 low range of the Rubicon but 2.72.

Sure, there's a handful of CJs running around.  Most of these guys will buy their parts in the U.S.

The more popular Jeeps are the Mitsu versions on the CJ-2.  These Mitsu copies may run Dana 44s and Spicer 25 axles and drum brakes.

Anyway, good luck...
