i'm thinking of selling my kosei rg 16" wheels used on my city with a 15" light weight wheel. i've trusted my kosei so much that even when overloaded or at high speeds with bumps, it doesn't get warped or dinged or anything.

with my motor being a 1.3, a 16" wheel would take much of its power. i've heard that the slipstream weighs only 5.4kgs or 12 lbs, not bad for a 15" wheel.

my querry and concern would be if i am to shift using the slipstream, how reliable is it in terms of durability and reliability considering our road condition here (not to mention i tend to ferry my family of five often).

we know that these wheels are used also in races but in racing, it always considers the weight of the car(and the tracks are smooth without potholes).

if you think slipstream is not for me, what option/s could you recommend that i could consider to widen my options?

thanks and best regards,

N E I L

for racing....well...it is light, had mine for about 15months already, matibay naman, at di nagbabago yung color......wont suggest it....too old for my taste...

thanks neil.

what would you recommend that are recent models, lightweight and durable? your preferrence please?

by the way, are slipstreams' material aluminum, alloy or magnesium?

ROTA is a very good brand

their rims are even more durable than other expensive imported rims.

They're aluminum alloy. There are other designs of Rota as well. You might want to check out their Attack design which is also good.

Very durable and very good quality control as seen in the article when we did the plant tour.

I think meron kasi I've seen some singkit Lancer's sporting Rota Slipstreams (they're PCD 114). Not sure with the rim size though. Sa Rota Attack di ko sure.

So PCD 114 pala iyong Elantra?
