my car is an es civic and nakalowering springs.

may squeeking sound kapag bumabagsak yung car coming sa humps. or kapag pinupush ko pababa yung car. nagkaroon ng sound after nung napadaan ako sa isang malaking lubak.

i think its not my shocks kasi pinacheck ko yung shocks ko tas ayos pa naman. pero the sound is coming somewhere sa suspension.

ano kaya yung tumutunog? iritating eh. para at least when i have it checked, may mapipin point ako na parts na possible pagkagalingan ng sqeeking sound!

you really don't have to know where the sound is exactly coming from if you are going to have it checked by a reputable shop... all you have to do is tell them what and when the sound started to be audible... it would help them a lot if they knew that info.

mahirap kasi mang hula if we can't hear what you are hearing.... people here could probably take an educated guess on what the problem is but it is still a guess...

okay lang naman sa mga shop if you don't know what's wrong with your car as long as you can relay what it is you want fixed...

i have this squeaking sound too... parang may ibon na humuhuni, usually pag matagtag ang daan.  pag straight naman at flat, wala yung mga humuhuni.  pag basa din at umuulan, halos wala yung humuhuni.  saang recommended shop kaya iyon pwede pa-check?  hindi ko malaman kung nasaan galing yung squeaking... thanks!

the noise could be comming from the spring itself. baka kelangan lang lagyan ng rubber yung coils na nagtatamaan kasi these tend to compress and hit each other when on the car.

This is interesting! Lowered my car just this week. Same thing on my rear suspension, dead calm on good roads ... parang may umaalog pag bumabagsak sa humps, even small ones. Checked all the fasteners (nuts and bolts) related to the suspension - mahigpit naman.

Bago shocks and trailarm bushing.

speedyfix, you might be right. the springs are 2nd hand. worn out na rin yung coating on some areas, ususally where the coils sit on each other. may ibang remedy ba to other than raising the volume of the radio?

hi sir speedyfix.  actually, nilagyan na ng parang rubber strips yung mga dulo ng springs, parang gawa gawang paraan lang.  pero anduon pa rin the squeakings.  minsan sana we meet personally then maybe ma-solve... nakakahiya kung may humuhuni, wala namang ibon!

recon, try using the rubber. usually that solves most of the sqeaking problems

migs, your shop does that too? daan nalang ako soon if so. Sa rear lang yung problema.

yup we can do that. i just charge for the rubber itself and the labor for the pullout of the shocks:)

it will be allright. no problems aside from the noise naman:)

Migs, your guy did a good job on fixing the racket sa rear. The spring itself was making the noise when it is compressed and the coils rub on each other. Plastic tube lang pala kailangan, so I got all four sides installed with it. It got so silent that I now get to hear my front suspension squeeking ... hehe! Check ko nalang muna condition ng bushings ... never replaced anything in the front since the ride was bought new 5 years ago.
