If I'm not mistaken may existing topic na about this. You can have it replaced by the LTO.

Meron sa UM sa tabi ng DLSU na nag re-restore ng plates.  400php each

Bawal po iyong magpapintura ng plaka, mabubura kasi iyong tatak ng LTO sa plaka, making it counterfeit.

call this guy, he can give you a set of new rizal plates with your old plate number.

all you have to do is fax your or-cr sa kanya and he'll work on it na. u'll get the plates in 2 weeks he will ask you to meet him at LTO main. no downpayment ha... so sya nga ang may risk pag wala kang pambayad.

sa LTO it costs 500-600 but it'll take you more that 3 months to get it plus all the documents you have to get.

sa kanya mga 1200-1300. pero wala ka nang dadaanan na red tape. pay when you surrender your old one and get your new plate. takes just 5 mins to get it.

he can also give you other LTO services.
