d ako naga race o sumasali ng sport truck shows,
i just like the look of a 4x4.
so far gusto ko ng simple lang na sasakyan, i was wondering to buy a suzuki samurai ung short wheel base, i believe thay call it suzuki beaver, and swap the engine with a toyota 2b engine, and the stock diff with a hilux diff and some simex tires. pang porma lang nman.
can you guys give me some advice kung ok lang to, or can you guys give me another option on what kind of vehicle and the set up, ung pang porma lang, d ko naman isasali ng mga race,  i thinks its very expensive kasi kung sasali sa mga races right?

I'll go for a BJ40 straight Toyota engine and axle. B engine will do but 3B is better.  Do a reverse shackle, 4" downey lift spring, 35 x 10.50 x 15 simex tires,  front & rear lockright lockers and come-up winch.

This setup, i believe will be a very capable 4x4 for trail and technical riding and will perform moderately for competition and daily use.

Regarding if races is expensive, that depends if your joining to compete or just to finish the course in which some call it technical riding.  What makes joining race expensive are the travelling expenses, plus if you break your car.

ung pang porma lang...

If looks is all you're after then you don't have to swap out or swap in anything...  Just lift that Beaver and install 44" tires without regard to drivetrain durability, re-gearing or adequate engine power...

Like you just said:  "pang porman lang naman..." ;D

kimps

a Stock rig can do the light to moderate trails.

mas maporma ang 4x4 kung ang background at bundok imho.

with that setup, i doubt if it will be able to move that 44s but anyway i'm sure its going to be an eye catcher.

Oops!  I apologize, Sixpack...  I modified your post by mistake instead of just quoting it...

OTEP

Just make sure you like the ride as much as the looks.   ;D

wow, kaya pla ng 2b engine paikutin ang 44" tires? do i need to re-gear?
magkano din kaya ang 44"
sa products ng simex tires ano ang pinaka maliking gulong nila, ang ganda kasi ng porma ng simex at d rin gaano kamahal

44" tires with a 2B engine?  Are you serious, dude?  No offense...  We were being sarcastic with our answers? ;D  Anyway, "yes" you need to re-gear and much more than that...

The largest off-road tire i saw from simex is 12.5 x 36 x 15.
