not all alarms will go off if someone's trying to steal ur sidemirror. depende ata sa alarm mo..
We simply attempt to be fearful when others are greedy and to be greedy only when others are fearful.

I agree with Andrew's comment, not all alarms go off when a car's sideview mirror get's stolen... I don't mean to be sarcastic but better to fabricate a "cage" for your sideview mirrors.  I've seen one.... doesn't look asthetically nice but I guess it works for the guy.  8)

The guy lives in Project 6 (an area also known to be steeling centercaps and sideview mirrors) and parks his car outside his house.  It's been 3 years now, he still has his sideview mirrors with him! :o

Surely, an alarm would work to serve its purpose... but to what purpose (i.e. avoidance to having your sideview mirrors stolen) is the QUESTION.  ???

DEFENSE car alarm system.  Okay naman performance and features niya for P3K.  More than a year old na siya and wala pa namang problema.

It takes less than 5 seconds for an expert thief to pry off the mirrors from your side mirror assembly.  I've heard from some that it even takes place during stoplights.  So alarms won't do you much good.  What my friend did was to put 2 plastic lockstraps on each side mirror.  Nakakailang but I think it does the trick.

VIPER 500 , adjustable ang sensitivity niya sa false alarm , wala kang magagawa sa sidemirror mo , talagang may kukuha niyan unless ganador yan na talagang lagyan mo ng built in na side mirror , hehe . So far walang problems sa VIPER 500 , had it ofr 8 months now .

I got a cobra on mine, 3.5k I believe.

Just like what the other guys said, a car alarm won't do you much good against those side mirror thieves. Hassle yan sobra.
