2.8M ba? kita ko sa C! magazine mga 2.5M lang ah.. ??? iniisip ko nga sana yun nalang binili ko kaysa sa underpowered BMW 318 M ko eh. Nanghihinayang kase ako while reading the magz kse i thought canot be reach yung price ng Evo tapos kita ko almost the same price lang pala!  :'(

I remember seeing the Evo VIII get featured in C! magazine. I think the quoted price of the Evo VIII in that article was P2.7M. btw, the Evo VIII featured and being imported is the USDM version. lastly, the importer (and C! magazine's "connections") is sir Nilo. (I forgot the surname... it starts with a P. :))

That's Nilo Pazcoguin, owns Auto Trend in Timog. They brought in several Evo VIIIs. There was one Evo VIII Euro Version being sold before (the one with the 6 speed tranny), supposedly for 2.6M only.
In a world of compromise, some don't.

I've seen spy pics of the Evo 9 and the new nose doesn't fit very well with the rest of the car. :(  Official Evos being sold by mitsu costs 2.9m, sulit ba to pay an extra 100 to 200t for warranty as compared with a gray market ones?

gp

bakit ang laki ng price difference ng evo8 dito compared sa US? sa US $30k = P1.65M, dito P2.8M. Ganon ba talaga kalaki ang tax dito sa pinas? or malaki lang patong ng mga importers?

the first pic of the IX looks like a "photo-chop", but the 2nd pic seems convincing.

I don't like the look of the IX. I like the relatively discreet look of the VII and VIII.  ::) :P

Cheapest I've seen for an Evo VIII is 2.6M. Auto Trend and L&C Auto Exclusiv have them.

THe Evo 8 MR (Mitsubishi Racing) will be coming out in Japan soon, and will be called Evo 8.5 according to evo Magazine. Elsewhere it will be called the Evo 8 MR. Has revised AYC/ACD electronic mapping, aluminum roof panel, special Bilstein suspension and more torque (298 lbs/ft) from revised cams and turbocharger. Same 280 PS output though.
