Hand brake indicator

Guys,


    What do you think is the problem why my
    handbrake indicator and 3rd brake lamp always
    lit up even though my hand break is down and
    I'm not stepping on my brake pedal

    This problem occurred after my overall check-up
    in a service center in Glorietta. Since it's free I can't
    complained on it =(

he's right... it is also an indicator your car is running low on brake fluid..

sa handbreak, kulang break fluid mo. 3rd break lamp lang ba ang nailaw? lagi kasi sabay umilaw tail light at 3rd break light. anyways, ipa adjust mo yung sa break pedal mo, pataasan mo ng kaunti para hindi na umilaw.

accord ba yung car mo? if i remember it right, bka you have a busted bulb/brake light. i'd the same problem before in our accord.

Let me re-phrase my statement only the indicators n my instruments panel are lit-up... not the 3rd break lamp, it seems the light is heavier when I use the hand brake and brake pedal.. Tnx for your infos I'll chk the brake fuild

may sensor yung brake fluid reservoir. kung di naka-kabit ng mabuti yung cap or kung kulang sa fluid then iilaw talaga yung lamp sa dash.

   I've checked d brake fluid reservoir closed naman yng lid at medyo over pa nga yng fluid..

   Here's the case, once I pressed the break pedal while the engine is running, the 3rd lamp and handbrake indicator will always be lit-up, kahit i-release ko na yng break... pero when I stop the engine and restart it ok clear na uli yng indicator

arghhh... alam ko we fixed a problem like this before pero i'm not sure exactly what we did. tawag ka sa shop and look for felix and baka maalala nya kung paano naayos.

bro pareho tau ng problem kc un car ng sis ko lagi din nkailaw un hand break indicator sa gauge panel..dami na tumingin n mekaniko wla din nkaayos eh..pero i checheck k din kung nkakabit ng maayos un sensor nya sa break fluid reservoir..bro pag naayos mo un sau pm mo nman ako kung ano gnawa.tnx

dude,

check mo if ur third brake lamp at the rear is busted. sa accord namin nka ilaw dati yung 3rd brake lamp sa gauge then when i replaced the bulb ok na.

pre check mo lng yung sensor ng handbrake mo, sa ilalim kse ng handbrake mo may sensor para umilaw yung handbrake lights mo pagnakahandbrake, baka lng kse hndi na nagrerelease yung metal parts kaya even na nakarelease na handbrakes mo nakailaw parin. nsa baba lng ito ng handbrakes. my ride kse is lancer and ganyan nagyari sakin dati

The 3rd break lamp is not busted... the problem triggers when I step-on the break pedal.. that's when the indicators always lit-up even though I release the break
