guys, ano kaya yun oil leaking under my engine? medyo black yun color.  konti lang naman pero concerned ako baka one time eh maubos yun oil :o kapapalit lang naman ng mga oil seals last year  ???

thanks

try to trace first where's the oil leaking by carefull inspection. maybe your drain plug's just loose or not tightened well. o baka naman maluwag din oil filter mo o di kaya sa power steering pump or the rack assy. could be anywhere. :)

I have the same problem.  Pina-engine wash ko muna yung car ko to verify if it was really leaking or not.  Within 1 week, meron na ulit oil around the edges of the gasket.

I brought it to Motorex in Banawe, and they said na malutong na raw yung rubber lining on the gasket.  They just replaced that, and my distributor oil seal and oring.  Its fine now, no more leaks.   ;D

depende kung san galing... speedyfix just fixed my oil pan gasket and now its okay na! pwede din sa crankshaft...

or it may be as simple as loose thread na ung drain plug or may leak sa oil filter...

suggest you have it lifted and check, if you can't see it na. get an engine and underwash, run it for a day and check it again.  :)

the oil pan leak is relatively easy to fix. mas may problem ka kung sa crankshaft oil seal yung leak since tangal pa yung timing belt and all stuff on that side. liit lang and cheap yung oil seal pero matrabaho sya.

have it fixed asap nalang kasi unless you check your oil everyday, di mo malalalaman if your oil level is safe pa or not :)

Guys in relation to oil leaks that may drain out the oil for obvious reason. How about the oil is drained out even without leaks, what could be the possible cause??? please help me naman I've notice that my oil level is getting lower but there's no trace of oil leaks in any part of my engine. PEACE!!!!

speedyfix

it could be that your engine is eating oil na due to age and improper wear. kung medyo bumigay na yung piston rings then this could be the cause.

mausok ba yung car?

also be sure to check the engine oil level while the engine is cold (in the morning after you have let it rest during the night.) this ensures that all of the oil has drained back to the oil pan. kasi if you check while kakapatay lang sa engine then the oil will still be aplashed all around the engine. :)
