Air Con Problem

Had my civic's air con system cleaned and recharged with freon last November - nawala kasi bigla ang lamig sa NLEX while en route to Manila.

3 days ago, nawala na naman lamig (3 months pa lang), suspect ko is may butas ang hoses kaso last November eh walang nakita na butas (even the evaporator, compressor and hoses).

What seems to be the problem here? Please assist. Thanks!

magpa leak test ka (evaporator, compresor, hoses etc.)

maybe you can go back to where you had your aircon fixed last nov. for a backjob....

its a possibility that your system has leaks.
If I were you, I'd look at myself in the mirror and ask, "Now what can I add to my system today?"

intermittent ba yung problem? i mean once in a wyl lang nawawala yung lamig? if yes then wlang leak yan. it could just be ur expansion valve.

pinalitan ba yung expansion valve mo nung pinalinis?

Breaks

I had a similar problem like bhed. Before, I usually had freon charged on my hatchback every 3-4 months but when I had it checked, there was no leak anywhere...  ???

Its definitely got a leak,  i guess it was just not check properly  but you can try doing it yourself by looking if there are any oil in the air-con lines including the compressor.

kung di siya lumalamig, try mo i-off yung a/c switch ng aircon(hindi yung 1,2,3,4 na switch). leave the aircon running then press the a/c off. then aftr a minute press the a/c button on. if hindi umakyat yung rpm like when you turn the aircon on then its not the freon. i forgot what the thing is but it looks like a spark plug thingy sa aircon radiator thing na nakakabit. tingin ko yun ang may sira.

just go to a good reputable aircon shop! para isang bagsakan na lang ang gastos at di ka pa-freon ng pa-freon. long term solution dapat!  8)

Could somebody help me out?  Where may I find a reputable car aircon shop without having to go to the casa?

bhed, ung sakin dati, wala ding butas ung mga components.  turns out, maluwag ung connection lang.  pinalitan mga o-rings lang.

ASR, I live in the Sta. Ana, Manila area.  Was sort of hoping to be recommended to a reputable car aircon shop in the vicinity, or in Mandaluyong or Makati.  Thanks.

Sa may Mandaluyong there's this Danny's Air Con. Sa may kanto ng Boni Avenue at 7-11 after passing the Rotonda you turn right. Nasa may left side siya.

HTH!

Raymond, if I remember correctly, the 7-11 is near San Felipe Neri Church....on Aglipay St.  Is there another 7-11 on Boni Ave.?

This kind of problem might be a leakage in the air con tubing. Things like this needs an air con check. How bad is freon to our health?
