16.9 [email protected] k lang ba oras ko?

tinakbo ko yung oto last pdrf jan 31,my car is galant 76 with:

4g63 dohc n/a 1st generation (stock lang) converted to rwd
5 speed tranny ng 4g32
5.1 ratio lsd galing sa toyota
13 tires 185X60x13
traction bar installed
4-1 headers
2 1/4 na pipe saka freeflow na muffler
knn filter

tanggal yung back seat pati mga gamit sa likod,pero all stock yung kaha  masilyado kaya mabigat.

takeoff rpm:6.5k
shiftpoint:7k rpm
reaction time:.997
0-60:2.402
mph1:65.98
mph2:76.79
ET:16.9

ano kaya mali dun sa setup ko?feeling ko kasi malakas magtakeoff pero pagdating ng 3rd gear parang walang dulo,nagtry akong magpalit ng 14 tires naging 17.1 oras ko pero tumaas yung mph naging 81mph.ty

Seems a bit slow.  What are your 60 foot times with the 14"ers?  I think your tires might be too small for the 5.1 differential and your 14"s might not have enough grip lang hence the times.  You should be in the mid to low 16"s.  Naka twin side ka ba?

efi yung 4g63 ko,ang napansin ko with 14 tires parang nagiba yung tunog pag takeoff ko parang sama nung iyak nung goma.saka nagmark ng mahaba yung gulong ko pagtake off.

Looks like here is your problem.  You might be getting a bit more tire slip.  You need very sticky tires to take advantage of a 5.1 differential.  15" might be more ideal for such a high diff.

Are you sure your differential is a 5.1?  Because there is a 4.1 LSD from toyota.

yup 5.1 ang ratio,kasi nung kinabit namin binilang ko yung mga ipin, ring gear ba yun 40 ang bilang tapos yung pinion gear 8 divide 5.tama ba pagkuha ko?

ano ba mas okay 4.1 ratio o 5.1 pag sa drag?
yung gamit ko kasi ngayon ang bilis ko magpalit ng gear , saka wala akong dulo specially pag mahaba yung daan 5th gear ko parang maikli.

Not sure sa equation when counting teeth pero for every 5 turns of the input side dapat 1 turn ang output (towards the wheels).

As for ratio it depends on your setup.  If your going for a 5.1 diff you will need bigger wheels.

Try experimenting between 4.3, 4.5, and 4.7 final gears.

baka nga masyadong maiiksi ung mga gears mo... Better try bigger mags and tires...

had a Galant 76 years ago. That car is one heavy mother tapos mukhang traction limited pa yung tires mo.  Hirap makakuha ng magandang oras sa quarter kung mabigat yung car.  I think you have to shave off some weight plus  install stickier tires para mag hook up ng maganda. good luck bro

nakakuha na ko ng 4.3 lsd buong diff,galing toyota corolla sr 8
bolter sya medyo maliit yung mga axcel nya.kinabit ko na sa galant
kaso nung i try ko i takeoff ng 3.5k,5k,6k,6.5k rpm using 195x60x14

gamit ko palagi?me solution kaya doon para makapag 14 tires ako?ano
kaya mas match sa 4.3 lsd?

Congrats sir on your new setup. Kung LSD iyong final gear na nakuha mo, tingin ko mahihirapan talaga pag mas malaki iyong gulong since LSD nga, the power transferred to the left and right rear wheels are always equal. Pero you get more traction.

Do you have information about your 4G32 tranny, as in the gear ratios? Tingin ko baka masyadong mababa (numerically lower) iyong 1st gear mo.

If you have the time and resources, palitan mo iyong tranny mo ng pang mas-malaking oto (i.e. Galant). But i'm really not sure kung gaganda talaga iyong arangkada mo.

Pero ok na iyang 13" wheels for daily driving :)
