it will depend on how many subs you plan to use, if they are svc or dvc subs and the impedance capacity of your amp.

parehas lang sila in terms of the speaker and the quality of sound, it all depends on your amp kung stable siya at 2 ohms.  safest buy is 4 ohms kung hindi ka sure kasi all amps naman operate at 4 ohms.  ang problema lang nga kung 2 ohms or 1 ohm stable yung amp mo you'll be getting less power off your amp if you operate it at 4 ohms.  although there are amps that give the same power regardless of the impedance, like JL amps, but most commonly amps give more power at lower impedance ratings if they are stable at that rating

Like the guys said, it all depends on your amp's capacity and how many subs you intend to use.

As to performance, assuming you'd be effectively feeding them the same power in relation to their impedances, it should be the same whether 2 ohm or 4 ohm.

dati gamit ko 2ohm na sub.. ndi ata kinakayanan ng amp ko or sumthn..nawawala-wala yung sub then i switched to 4ohms wla nang problema

nagpo-protect yung amp coz hindi siya 2ohms (mono)capable.
