Evo 5 Look, Possible?

I've been thinking of converting my 97 lancer to an evo 5 look, replacing the headlights, having fiberglass evo 5 fenders, hood, bumpers, side skirts, then how about the flares for the rear fender?

Anyone who has done this? Any idea how much?

pare, si dom francisco ng parts and shop in evangelista did that. pero i think walang fiber glass.

text mo ko i know someone with an evo5 front end.

kung all fiber best bet mo na siguro si a-toy. it wont come cheap though..

There was a show entry a few years back by kai audioworks I believe. It was a normal black GLXI converted to Evo 6 look including front bumper, side fenders, and even the rear wing. Don't know who did the body kit though.

i guess you can have a rear flare molded to the rear door and quarterpanel and repaint the whole car with all the body panels installed.

I've seen several good conversions already. There was this silver one at banawe.... It was all good perfect almost got me... OMG it had rear drum brakes! haha almost...

Then there is this red one i was following from the rear... I thought it was an EVO5 because it looked so real with everything and no uneven surfaces, swak... I over took it OMG it was a GSR!

And of course that black one of Kai audioworks..

i wouldn't do it unless you're thinking of really modifying the engine. baka lumabas lang na ricey yan.

Kasi pag hindi Evo, wag pipilitin. Nothing wrong with having a plain looking Lancer. Very wrong to look at a fake Evo without 4WD and 4G63T.

  I dont mind conversions as longs naka 4G63T na though FWD pa din , very promising . Just bring out the deatils of 5 lugs conversion , rear disc brakes etc but might a swell buy the rral deal .

 A company based in the US called VIS racing makes the EVO kits from the 1G to the 5G Lancers/Mirage's with the wide bodykit .

yeah, me 2! i wouldn't convert it to EVO look kung stock engine naman... spend on engine na lang muna para mas astig... d naman pangit ang stock lancer na body eh... besides, makuha mo nga yung good body kits for ur car.. iba parin yung tayo nung EVO compare to stock lancers...

Saw a black lancer converted into an evo 6 and it has a monster evo 7 ITC infront... hindi ko lang alam kung ito yung sa KAI Audioworks... saw it december 2002 at the Club Mitsu Christmas EB 2002... members flock to the car and blew them off... the owner is a young chinese guy and a shop sponsored the conversion for car show purposes! It was a pretty neat job!
