i wont suggest DIY since case sensitive ang sealing ng headlights unless very well experienced ka na sa gawaing ito. another option is just bring it to a shop that does work on these certain type of job. one who does this (as experienced) sa fastlane. (i had my headlight converted to typeR look) you can bring your headlight sa fastlane sa may zapote, they will accomodate you naman kahit honda kotse mo kase pagkaalam ko Toyota performance shop ito. they do a splendid job on sealing headlights after cleaning or coloring them. Sealing is the most impt. when you are planning to dismantle the headlight. mas ok kung ikaw na mag baklas ng headlight and bring it to them. mahirap kase iwan mo buong korse sa shop tapos headlight lang ipapagawa mo, aabutin ng whole day nga pala ang process since pautuyuin pa kasi yung seal. so i suggest morning mo ipasok yung headlight.

So you mean to say they are going to use a new sealant on the your headlights? I think this is not advisable since they won't use the same material as the original seal. And I beg to disagree, it should not take the whole day. It only took me an hour or so when I had the headlights of our car cleaned by a friend's shop, who by the way did a splendid job cleaning it. Looked new afterwards and still no moisture even though its rainy season now.

yup ibang sealant na nilagay, pero yun nalang ang options kapag gusto mo galawin loob ng headlights mo either having it cleaned or painted. unless may alam po kayo na shop that can dismantle the headlight and can seal it back using the same sealant.

1 time lang ako nag visit sa shop kaya im not familiar wid the names of the ppl in Fastlane.... naala ala ko magkapatid ata yun parehong kulot.

cgro nga it would just take an hour for the seal to dry.....pero  i had my headlights painted  kaya halos whole day inabot plus may iba rin silang customers kaya sugested saken balikan nalang yung headlight sa hapon. the whole process maybe took half a day or so but i will not wait or stay that long in a shop so whole day nga allowance mo sa kanila kase u have to consider the accomodation, quality, and pressure for the process atsaka i have to consider spending  my time wisely.

just to share with you guys since on the topic naman... i got my civic headlights cleaned kanina at autoline.  ok naman...pulido and they use your old sealant.  plus they leaktest after so medyo sigurado ka.  it cost me php1,000 for the cleaning pero sabi nung owner, same cost if i have it painted na rin.  sounds reasonable although i did not get mine painted kasi di bagay sa mags.

autoline is at estrella st., makati.

How long did it take?

i left my car in the morning and got it in the evening kasi bawal din.  but i think they worked on it for 2-3 hours lang ata.

At our shop, we dont flush the headlight with liquids and we dont disassemble the headlight assembly. We just clean the inside part of the lens. We dont touch the chrome reflector since this part is quite sensitive. Madali mabakbak. PM me na lang for details.

Im looking for shops who specializes in opening and poping up headlights especially for Hondas.  Someone who knows what they're doing and can guarantee a leak-free job.

Thanks everyone!  ;)
