It's Silicon pare.  It's made in Singapore although there aren't probably any specs on the Net.  There are 2 and 4 channel versions.

The 4 channel PA800 is a bit more powerful than the MRV-F705.  It's roughly as powerful as the V12 MRV-T604 (black/silver) amps, and priced in about the same range (P4K+).   It works quite well, IMO, for my sister's setup in a Grand Vitara, powering a 12w3v2 sub and RC61 separates.

I don't think you can find too many of them nowadays.

thanks for the replies.

RH, can you post the specs of your silicon amp? what other features does it have? madali ba mag-init? thanks!

bro,

as per the manual, eto yng specifications:

model: PA4800
power output: 800w 4/3/2 channel amplifier
2-ohm stable operation
fully bridgeable
frequency response: 10Hz - 40 KHz
vented top plate design
wire free PCB layout
input sensitivity: 300mV - 8V
selectable bass boost: 0db/9db/18db @ 45Hz
variable crossover: LP:12db/Oct, HP:100Hz
THD: 0.3%
signal to noise ratio: >85db
size: L 328mm x W 265mm x D 62mm

ok naman yng performance ng amp. sa experience ko, di naman sya gaano umiinit. having said that, i'm using a jl audio 12" w0 sub kaya di masyado matakaw sa amp.. pero i play my music fairly loud. siguro depende na rin yon sa sub mo and how loud you play your music.

i heard a silicon amp powered a 2 12" pg subs. lakas din nya tumunog!
