Which is better? Top Gear or C!?

Got my latest C! issue na.

They definitely outdid themselves on this particular issue.  Although I have yet to read all the pages, all I can say is "wow!" hehehe.

i'll go for the C! mag as i'am more familiar on what does the magazine have, pero medyo late nga lng cya i-out sa market, i have my latest issue i think mas pinaghandaan nila this time, hoping that it will feature more interesting topics as for us car enthusiast in the tuning scene...

Right now I'm leaning towards Top Gear. C! has disappointed me a little lately with their lame reviews. I was pissed at their past few comparos coz they didn't even rank them according to their preference. Why call it a comparo then? But for a totally local mag, C! is an excellent magazine.

Top Gear has some very nice UK content. I hope our local journalists learn to write things the way top foreign mags do, not just suck up to local car manufacturers by praising their cars all the time.

But I'll still buy both because I'll just shell out less than 300 bucks for 2 magazines.

just bought my issue of top gear...for a maiden issue, it did well...i'll choose over C! it for its potential to be better in the future

I got Top Gear Philippines' second issue (October) and compared to C!, I'd say there's no comparison. TGP blows C! clean off the road!

More articles (rivals Autocar).
Better writers.
Shared articles with Top Gear UK.
No 'play it safe' car comparos.
Cheaper.

I think C! should tie it up with a UK mag (ala TGP and Autocar Asia) to gain access to more quality auto articles.

They both get my vote.  Good for us that we finally have mags that cost only 125 per copy unlike the imported ones for 500++???
I've had my C! subscription for a year now and I did notice a vast improvement in their individual writing skills.  Not to mention several lame comparos... who do they think they are Jeremy Clarckson?  But shouldn't we look at the positive side...
Top Gear is pretty new and IMHO think it IS the better balanced of the two local mags.  It has the advantages of foreign writers as well as our in-the-know local boys at a fraction of the cost of the original best selling U.K. car magazine.
They haven't responded to my request for a subscription though.

i just noticed that C! magazine is just giving a lot of facts.. but top gear philippines.. while giving a lot of facts, there are also a lot of side comments that is hilarious!! i find top gear factual yet entertaining! so my vote goes to topgear philippines!

i hope they just proof read their magazine coz i can't believe they messed up with a mazda 2.0 having 571hp <---- now that's funny

C! is fighting back.  Official F1 racing content and Autocar content coming up.  OK ito. Pagandahan ng content.  Competition, like racing, improves the breed ika nga.  

More power to both mags.
