Getting ready for Valentines Day?? ;D ;D ;D

These are from my x-mas to new year experineces, I had to do planning for a house being constructed at  Tagaytay so I somehow experimented with diff hotels. Aside from what has been mentioned above... here are mine:

Days Hotel: lots of rooms(68-80 I think) facing Taal. Average of 4000-5000 per room/day. Lots of configurations kase ranging from singles to family. Pool, dining, excellent service (daming personnel to assist you) very pampered ka, you can even have foot spa or massage at your own room. limited parking though during holidays

Chateu Royal: Just after Caleregua, 1800-2000 per day
Sorry no taal view but has pool. Ok rooms average lang. Ok parking.

Ayaw mo Batangas? Try White Cove, 2800 per day. view of beach. 100 steps away from the beach. ok room, very well designed. Average service because of limited personnel. This one is owned by UCPB, some areas still under construction, i guess a bank acquisition from a BR owner? lots of parking, food served is not that good.

I advise you to buy food at Tagaytay muna then head to Batangas na. walang kainan dun masyado na ok, like leslies, dencios or yellow cab. - went here last new years day, last day of vacation.

If ever you're looking for a resto sa Tagyatay, try TAALEÑA. Bigger area, nice veranda, the view as if it were made for the resto. :)

Last x-mas everyone was crowding at leslies, RSM and Dencios, they didnt notice Taaleña, a resto which opened last dec 5th lang, sarap din, and more refreshing dahil hindi crowded. Excellent service and better interior design. Try if for yourself, bring an suv or stock car, hindi pa ganun kaganda yung road leading to it (parking). Taaleña is right before leslies going to Batangas.

Enjoy and TC. :)

for those on a medyo tight budget...pwede siguro yung mga 1500 rooms for rent... medyo bundled sila near the picnic groove area... most wala din view

tried picnic groove once too...i think its 1500 for two rooms... may view

but the toilet and bath may have seen better days... in other words... nasty ;D

Talaga?

For me the bathroom is so important, it should be very clean, organized, sanitized and if possible well designed. This determines how critical the management is with its facilities. :)

And kailangan yan or else hindi makakapag-ayos si Dondie for his fafa mode kung manchichiks sa Highlands or Taal Vista Lodge ;D

Speaking of Taal vista Lodge, they have great facilities ever since Barcelo Resorts took over the management :) But of course, the rates can make your heart stop beating. Probably around 5-6k for a twin bedroom :(

if im on a tight budget... i always go to KENI PO apartelle...  Kapampangan kasi ako kaya patronize our own! hehehe! very well kept and clean rooms for P1200 per night basis! UPon reaching Tagaytay via the sta rosa - tagaytay highway... turn left then mga 300-500 meters away!  ;)
Do not follow where the path might lead....

Hehehe. Fishing si Fafa Ray o.. Ikaw ang original Fafa. ;D

Taal Vista lodge is nice, sobrang renovated na talaga, you get a resto, coffee shop, excellent facilities, new designs, and the original Taal viewing spot which we grew up with when we were kids, back when it was still open for the public. IMO 5000-6000 for Taal Vista is sulit. Harap mo pa Casino. ;D

KENI PO means Dito Po right? near the Church.
