I think they should allow changing of tires again. The race was so boring. It was like an endurance race.

Agree.  It was mostly a procession save for the dicing between Webber, Fisisco, & Ralph.

Puro palit kasi ng regs si Mosely but non seem to improve the spectacle naman.  Next year it gets worse - 2.4 liter V-8 engine limit.

looks like Toyota's breakthrough season has finally come!  :D

the opposite seems to be true for BAR-Honda...  ::) :P

The last three laps seem to be as long as the whole race for Jarno Trulli as he held on and prayed that his tire wouldn't blow up and cost him his podium finish.

A very disappointing race and humbling experience for Michael Schumacher being lapped by a Toyota.

The incident between Webber and Fisichella was very unfortunate. Both drivers were running well pa naman.

I'm also starting to think that Bridgestone made a miscalculation with durability in their choice of compound. It was too soft compared to what Michelin used. They really need to work on that with the new rules in place.

just a correction: Rubens was the Ferrari that got lapped by a Toyota, not Schumi.  :)

Rubens' car had a piece of rubber (from Kimi's blowout) lodged in his rear wing for 20 laps and this caused oversteering which eventually destroyed the rear tires. Michael's were fine at race's end.  If anything, the Bridgestones were too hard compared to the Michelin's and this is why the Ferrari's are slower.

My bad on MS getting lapped. But it seems that I also got mixed up with the tires on the Toyota Michelin din nga pala yun. That's what happens who you fall asleep watching a boring race, you wake up suddenly its almost over and you get everything mixed up.

jUs-, itchywitch,

Just got back!  Huwaw!  :o Indescribable!  The sound of an F1 engine is truly unbelievable!  We were seated in front of the start-finish line, so you can just imagine 20 V10 engines screaming at your ears at the start.  Whew!

Experience of a lifetime talaga!  I strongly recommend watching an F1 race live at least once before you die!  ;)

Kudos to Valerie of Racegear!  Great tour!
