thoughts on new JBL GTO amps

overrated/...dont think so
its CEA certified so its ratings are accurate
presently, when you consider it, these amps are definitely BANG-FOR-THE-BUCK...and so are their Infinity counterparts (the JBLs just look a tad better)
if you look around, itll be very difficult to find an amp of such ratings givent the same price

baka nga underrated pa e, wala lang gumawa ng test. CEA standards only ensure no overrated output stickers, many people are waiting for someone to actually confirm this.

according to several articles ive read regarding this "new standard" of rating...it assures the consumer that the product isnt overrated and that at minimum effort, so to speak, it can produce what it says it can

Saw a Pajero with 2 GTO amps; their powering rainbow seps and coaxs, and a JLw6.  Malinis namang tumunog.  Dunno lang kung mabilis uminit.  Anyway, bang for the buck nga ata.  Tempting...  Haha.

Yup, pero advantage kasi sa Mega kung credit card. Walang 7% surcharge dun e, na kung idadagdag mo sa cost niya sa banawe, plus kung mas malapit bahay mo sa Mega at DIY ka naman, e di halos pareho lang presyo nun. Or, kung BPI credit card mo, puwede SSIP. Kung wala akong self-control nagbabayad na ko ng installments sa 7879R at Type X ngayon.

just went to mega this afternoon. the amp was quite big so i have to rewire my system again. my old amp's located under the passenger seat kasi. napansin ko lang ang bait ng tindera doon. si sol. she was really helpful kahit na nagiinquire lang ako. hehe ang konti lang ng tindahan na ganito ka ok yung mga tao. hehe natuwa lang ako

Autosport in Megamall. The satellite office of the distributor, Perfect Circle in Banawe.

If I were you I'd proceed with Perfect Circle although there is not much difference really in price (a few thousand pesos or two higher prolly in Autosport bec. of the rent of the space).

Sayang, I used to go to Perfect Circle when it was still at Buendia, Makati.  Autocycle ata yung name nung place which was full of auto shops.

A lot of people are recomending JBL's GTO amps.  How about the CS series?  Are these any good?  CEA rating rin ba to?

CS series are cheaper, and have lower rating for those set-ups that do not require too much power.
