guys, how long can you use a new car without plate? heard before that you can no longer roam around our streets using a new car with no plates... is this still true? thanks in advance

borly

from what i read in previous threads, the conduction sticker is only for the vehicle to be delivered from the dealer to ur house...

afterwards, you are not allowed to use the car till the plates arrive...

When my mom's Mazda Tribute was new, we got stopped by a TMG cop on the way home from the airport (Tramo) because we didn't have any plates yet. At the time we never heard of this regulation so we complained to Mazda and we were compensated for the fine although my driver still got a recorded violation.

we bought a car from toyota, they told us na we can use the car for  7 days daw. in short, the conduction sticker is valid for 7 working days. tas 7 working days passed na,wala pa ung plate, what they did was to renew the conduction sticker nalang. they gave me a reciept from LTO.valid for another 7 working days. so far, madalas ako sa makati, and hindi pa naman ako na pull over by a cop. just my 2 cent ;D

Yup ganyan na ngayon. 7 days, then after that, renew another 7 days, until dumating yung plaka.

No problems, especially kung kaka-release lang nung car from the casa.

We recently bought a car from Toyota, pauwi palang got stopped by TMG, we simply showed them the papers and we're good to go already.

When you get your plates, put them on, avoid hassles, follow the law. ;)
